This cottage was by far one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed (and we are avid travellers). We walked in and just couldn't believe how amazing it was. The view was so special that we didn't want to look away, blink or go to sleep - because it all meant that we would lose a moment of...

The cottages sit on a hill above the lake. We sat out with wine and cheese and took in the view. A pretty amazing way to start a vacation. The heat was good, wifi good, beds good. The cottages have a kitchen and it is a long way to a restaurant so bring your food with you. There is another...

The view is amazing: really big windows overlooking the lake. The owner is really helpful (helping us dig out our car after we took a wrong turn in the dark...) but the cottages are placed so it feels like you're alone on the world. Though the massive snowstorm might have helped with that as well. Also really close (<10 min...

Wow. Just, WOW!! This is unlike any other place you'll find in Iceland. Nestled near Thingvellir National Park, these cottages overlook Thingvallavatn Lake, with outstanding views of the sunrise. The cabin is well-equipped with EVERYTHING you'll need to cook, plus, those 'extras' you'd forget to pack (tea candles, tea, coffee, cream). You will feel completely relaxed in this cozy cabin!...

How lucky am I to find this place? I have never been happier on a vacation. This was perfect. Unfortunately, it rained the entire time we were here, but I imagine it would be a good spot to view the northern lights. As it was, our view of the lake was unparalleled. I didn't want to leave in the mornings...

With ample sleeping space for four people (1 x double room + 1 x 3/4 and 1 x overhead 'bunk' in the other room), an excellently positioned cabin for out trip to Iceland. For the six of us, we had cabin numbers 3 & 4 of the four that were available. Parking within 20 yards, the cabins offered plenty of...

We stayed a night at one of the cottage located nearby the Thingvellir National Park. It was drizzling but the view overlooking the lake was breathtaking! The cottage was fully equipped with everything. The lady owner was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay with windows with a great view to spot any northern lights. We didn't see it...

We loved the cottage. It was very clean and scenic with large windows overlooking the lake. It was one of the best places we stayed in so far on our ring road tour. We chose it for its proximity to thingvellir which is only few minutes away. There is also small kitchen so good to grab some groceries as food...

We stayed our first night in Island in the cottage 3 and we enjoyed very much our stay. The cottage has 2 rooms (1 double bed in a room, 2 single beds and a bunk bed in the second room). The bedrooms are small but this is fine for vacations. There is a small kitchen with fridge and 2 electric...
