Went for a spin on a sunny Saturday and ended up in Ballycotton, stopped here for lunch. When we arrived there was a gorgeous aroma of food. As we were by the sea we both opted for the fish of the day, service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious, the fish was so fresh served with a...

Fantastic place to stay, great having a real fire, awesome hospitality and very friendly staff and excellent service. Best fish and chips! It was clean and quiet - great location as we didnt have a car and travelled back and forth to cork. Look forward to visiting again. We loved the cliff and beach walks thank you

We stayed here for three nights last week. Room was clean and spacious. Very comfortable. Breakfast was top class. Food presented very well. Evening meals and sandwiches were fresh and there was plenty to eat. All in all hard to fault this establishment. Staff were local, helpful and friendly. Owners Bríd and Mike are really lovely people. Very relaxed pace...

Visited the schooner bar today while touring around east cork. The food was delicious and it was served with a smile. One thing that marred my visit was the smell in the toilets and i must point out the cleaning of same left a lot to be desired.Maybe a fragrant candle would help.

A charming nice friendly place. Great bar menu and the food was fresh and beautifully cooked. The owners were so nice. Family run place in the beautiful village of Ballycotton. The place is spotless. The bar has live music some nights.

We were doing the cliff wall and stopped in for a Beamish stout. The owner Mike was great and lent my wife a warm fleece Jamison jacket for the walk in the cold. We returned and had lunch...waitress -tall and blonde haired but I'd didnt get her name, was very polite and accommodating. The tempura fried onion rings were very...

While 3 of our 4 meals were nice, I ordered the Cajun Goujons. When they came they were very over cooked and rubbery to eat. I took them back and the man behind the bar came over to me and said "that's the way we do them". We suggested taking them out of the fryer sooner and he said they...

“All rooms are good....its not a hotel its a B&B above a pub but separate entrance you get your own front door key. Its in a stunning village with lots of amazing cliff walks, fishing opportunity, swimming spots .... fab pubs just wonderful place. We go with friends and stay overnight......went recently on a well behaved hen night and it was brilliant.....meal in Schooner and music in Blackbird across the road......cannot wait to go back....should have reviewed sooner.”
