Couldn't ask for more! Great facilities and really friendly staff here in the Surf Lodge, and it's literally on the beach... and what a beach! Highly recommended... And really good bars and restaurants within walking distance too!

Great spot, clean comfortable and spacious rooms, very good kitchen facilities and common area and an extremely friendly (and tolerant) host. Great location surf shop next door, surfers' bar a few yards down the road. Couldn't ask for any more.

The hostel is a great place to stay and explore the surrounding area. It is comfortable and friendly with a great pub and a couple of restaurants right beside it. But the best thing is the beach and the sea a couple of feet away.

Couldn't be better located for surfing, walks on the beach and easy access to other amenities and attractions! I went with a group of mates and the accommodation was perfect for us - no fuss and great value. The common room and kitchen were adequate for requirements and kept in a clean state. Friendly and helpful staff made the stay...

Unbelievable views and very friendly staff. Great place to set up base for exploring South donegal and surrounding areas. And don't forget the surfing. Clean and comfortable bedrooms and beds, great surf shop and the owner will do anything he can to help you out. No hesitation in recommending this place to everybody.

The actual hostel itself was brilliant. The common room was well laid out with great views, the kitchen was clean and the rooms were fine. The bed itself was fairly comfortable (not luxury but who would realistically expect that) and again the view was great. The best part was that they allowed us to use the washing machine and tumble...

Wake up in the morning to the sound of the sea, jump out of bed (in your comfy, clean room), get yourself kitted up with quality surf equipment (with the help of the awesome friendly staff) and walk mere paces to the beach to begin your surf lesson!!! Now that's what I call a QUALITY surf hostel. If you are...

A group of 10 girls all went up for a weekends craic and to take on the challenge of surfing! With a bit of patience from our fab instructor we all managed to stand up on the boards (for all of about 3seconds)! Perfect location for shaking of the hangover as it's a mere stumble to the beach. Bedrooms were...

A group of 11 of us went up for a long weekend and had a brilliant time. The rooms, bathrooms and kitchen were very tidy. The breakfast was very sufficient. It turned out that we pretty much had the hostel to ourselves for nearly the whole wknd too which was great. There's a few bars locally, and there's restaurants in...
