Mary and her husband takes really care of you with excellent English breakfast and a packed lunch -if you are riding at the Flower Hill equestrian center. Everything is clean and tidy. We can absolutely recommend this.

I have stayed in many B&B's in Ireland and this is #1, hands down. What a lovely stay! The rooms and all common spaces are immaculate and comfortable. All the amenities that you need. A small driveway (that is gated for security) leads to parking in the back. The secret weapon here is Mary (owner and host). She is a...

Mary was out host and delivered such warm hospitality, delicious cooking and charming company. I can highly recommend this B&B. My partner and I stayed for a long weekend while I was attending some riding down the road. The beds were comfy, plenty of choice with pillows, room very warm. Each room had their own bathroom - such a lovely...

What an absolute find. Mary is the most attentive and thoughtful host taking care of our every whim. Nothing was too much trouble. The house is pretty and well furnished, beds are very comfortable and we needed them after two long days in the saddle! Breakfasts were excellent too. Mary made us hot ports on arrival, offered to fill our...

A highlight of our Ireland horse riding/shopping vacation was our stay at Oak Lodge. Mary's personal warmth and genuine interest in our well being made us feel spoiled. She made sure we knew where we were going everyday and gave us recommendations for dinner, lunch, pub, you name it. We look forward to being able to go back and stay...

Spotlessly clean, warm, dry and comfortable. That's twice now that I've stayed there. I'll be back if I possibly can. Mary and PJ, who run the place, are very welcoming and friendly. The cooked breakfast is magnificent.

Thank you Mary for a lovely visit. We felt very welcome and totally spoiled. The weather was cold and we were exhausted from horse riding all afternoon. The B&B was warm and welcoming. Mary, the host, gave us something warm to drink and scones. Also shared with us information on places to eat and drink in Portumna, which we could...

A superb B & B; spotlessly clean and very quaint. Mary Lynch and PJ are quick to help or make suggestions for local sights and dining. The breakfast was excellent as was our room. I hope we will have the good fortune to return.

Mary at the Oak Lodge was like having a sweet mum away from home. Charming beautiful spot, and the very best service. Delicious breakfast made to order, clean spacious rooms. Mary helped us organize evening meals for our 5 night stay and transport to our next stop with grace and a smile. Absolutely wonderful!
