This B&B is 5 minutes from town which means you don't hear all the noise coming from the popular local pubs. The b&b offers a nice room and a helpful owner will keep you informed, as well as providing you with a tasty breakfast in the morning. Lots of parking available if you're driving. We are returning for yet another...

This b and b is large, modern, spotless, tastefully decorated and in a good location. Hence a little bit more expensive than other b and bs. Everything was very pleasant. Breakfast was good. We have started opting for bed and breakfasts over hotels because they are usually much more personal. However, in Grove house this extra welcome and chat was...

Spotlessly clean room, double & single bed. Good sized TV with all the major channels. Tea & coffee making facilities. Plenty of hot water and nice white fluffy towels. Lovely quiet spot and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, choice of cereals, juices and fresh fruit. Had a full Irish which was lovely and set us up for the day. Wendy...

A beautiful house situated in a peaceful and scenic setting. Having booked with booking.com I received a very pleasant phone call from the owner the day before arrival to ensure we were still coming as booking.com had removed my details thus payment had not been processed. On arrival parking was plentyful, the accomodation was immaculate and we enjoyed a very...

This house never fails to please - great bedrooms, wonderful breakfast, great host and convenient location. Congratulations Wendy on a well run B&B.......the 4 stars at your door are just not enough! Look forward to seeing you again! Maisie and Jack

We had been to Carlingford many times on day trips but never stayed. For our anniversary weekend we thought we'd give this a go and booked Grove House. It's about a 10 minute stroll from the village centre, a perfect quiet location. I read some negative reviews here but I've no idea what prompted such comments. From the moment we...

So Pleasantly surprised we loved this beautiful bed and breakfast and our first time to stay in one in a lot of years. The owner Wendy was so good at making sure all our needs were met and the young girl Michelle working there was so helpful and friendly. The room was a very high standard and we would have...

First class accommodation, made very welcome by Wendy, clean and spacious hotel standard rooms, cooked breakfast to individual specification, will return! Short distance from town centre, 10 min walk or short taxi journey! Ate at Mckevitts Hotel, lovely meal, friendly and attentive staff.

Overall this venue is ok, but not a place to feel like you can relax for a few days. It was quiet at night with a comfy bed but doilies, tablecloths, signs and security cameras everywhere, it felt like staying at your grans or a hostel. At breakfast it was the choice of marmalade or marmalade for the toast. This was...
