We headed down here for my hen party. The hotel were very accommodating and helpful. The hotel has a really cosy/homely feel to it. It is very central and all the shops/dining/bars are within easy walking distance

Stayed one night, disappointed with tired state of the hotel and our room. It's clearly seen better days. Corridors smelt of damp, cleaning products and cigarettes, not a nice mix. Staff were helpful and housekeeping were good but our bathroom was mouldy along the mastic and grouting. We had an empty space where there should have been a single bed,... More

We had our wedding here on 27/8/15 - It was the most amazing day from start to finish. The way the hotel was decorated was beautiful. Louise, the wedding planner was amazing the whole way through the run up and Dave, the manager was fantastic on the day. Everything was perfect. The food was out of this world and I... More

We stayed at the Newgrange with our 11 year old son for one night in a Family double room with single bed - a surprisingly large room. All perfectly clean and comfortable. Good wi-fi, nice central location. We were 3rd floor, with views onto the town and church (haha, the church bells ringing every fifteen minutes are lovely in the... More

Real good value for money food (in particular the early bird menu, which is available all week around). Car parking at the hotel very limited and the multi-storey is an adventure with a larger car. The rooms, unfortunately, let the hotel down - the furnishing has certainly seen better days - probably back in the 1980's or 1990's. Pitty really... More
