Stayed here as we were at a wedding in Tankardstown House a related business. Room was lovely with a four poster bed. Had breakfast in restaurant and sat beside the fire.It was freshly cooked and excellent. Only downside is that our room was at the front and there is a very busy road outside. Did not bother us but if...

We stopped of for lunch as a family of 6. Service was good and friendly. Waiting staff were busy but attentive and helpful. The food was good for a pub lunch. Be aware the portions are very very large. There is a children's menu however ours ordered for the main menu which is more diverse. The fish and chips was...

Last Sunday (03/12/16) we called into this fabulous establishment after hearing great reviews on the food. The place was bedlam and but thankfully we were given a table in minutes, met by lovely smiling waitress' and a warm open fire, there was definitely a strong sense of the Christmas spirit. A very tall brunette, very smiley waitress came over and...

Good afternoon Mary Many thanks for your review of your experience at The Conyngham Arms and I am delighted that overall you and your family enjoyed your lunch with us. I am very sorry that you and your children got a fright when our the manager in charge on that afternoon appeared to punch the bar, but I would like...

Such a lovely exterior - such an unwelcoming, cold interior. It takes more than some Farrow & Ball type paints to create a comfortable atmosphere. This hotel is grossly over-rated - expensive, and staff who could not care less. I have been going to this hotel for the past 30 years and since it has changed hands over the past...

We had our wedding here is September. What an amazing day! Louise, Barth, Killian and all the staff did a brilliant job. Nothing was to much trouble for them. They went out of their way so make sure the day was perfect for us. They even went as far as ordering in mint ice cream especially for our little girl!...

Enjoyed an excellent lunch at the Conyngham Arms. The chowder was excellent as was the lamb shanks. The service was very good with sufficient time left before courses unlike many restaurants where the focus is getting as many people as possible served in the allotted timeframe..

The Conynghams Arms is a great place for a stopover. I spent one night there before going to the airport which is only 40 minutes away. Cosy and warm, friendly staff, lovely food, especially the breakfast, which will keep you going many hours. I loved waking up to the smell of the turf fire! The single room was small but...

We stayed here for onenight as we were attending a wedding nearby, it is a small quirky hotel with room layout not your average hotel style, although this is something that I quite liked about this place, however a few let downs soured our visit but not to the extent that we would not return. When we entered our room...

We stayed at the house that the Conygham Arms has across the road from the main hotel. The house looks lovely, set in mature grounds. Our room was cold, there were no rugs on a wooden floor and nothing was done to improve the situation despite us mentioning it several times. Laundry was piled high outside our door which gave...
