We loved the charm of this B&B. The hostess Christine, and her daughter (and we even met her grandson out feeding the cattle) are all lovely. There are a couple of great ponies on the property - and plenty of room for roaming around. The breakfast was filling and Christine is very accommodating. We spent a total of four nights...

Beautiful little farm house with dogs, mule, cows, Shetland ponies, hard to find as no signs but once you get there is great. Wonderful hostess and the breakfast was delicious. Had great recommendations for restaurants in town and gave good directions. Unfortunately as a farm must drive, nothing in walking distance but well worth the rural experience. Only issue is...

During our three weeks in Ireland we stayed at 13 B&Bs. Compared to all accommodations we had experienced we would rate this places 3.5 stars. Kind and helpful host. Room was small and simple - enough spcae for just 1 night. The price for the room was obove our average holiday level.

I'm sorry I didn't post this earlier. We stayed here for two nights, the beginning of July 2011. We were helping our Aunt discover her roots in County Monaghan and Arradale House seemed to be the best place to establish a base for our stay. It was better than we expected. The whole family was very accommodating and the rooms...

We spent two nights in this home while on vacation with our children. The location, a short distance from Carrickmacross, was quiet and pleasant. The hostess was very welcoming and helpful about helping us find family-friendly activities for our free afternoon. She also had a wealth of information available about nearby activities and attractions. The rooms are small and simple but...

My sister and I stayed one night at Arradale House and found it very comfortable. The hostess was more than accommodating. We were fortunate to meet a relative in a nearby town. He and his daughter joined us for breakfast at Arradale House, and our hostess was more than gracious about having an extra visitor. My experience with Arradale House...

Lovely setting, warm welcome but bedroom was very cold when we got back from a nearby wedding reception at 1am. Bed creaky and uncomfortable, didn't realise there were only 2 thin manky pillows to hand, so we didn't get much sleep at our 1 night stay. Shower was not working, half used tubes in bathroom but clean. My husbands cooked...
