We stayed here overnight, as we had availed on a deal online which included breakfast, a bottle of bubbly and chocolates on arrival and late check out. We enjoyed the time here. The room was comfortable, good sized bathroom, big tv, big bed etc. We had food from the extensive bar menu that evening and we couldn't fault the food...

Organised this little break last minute. Rang the hotel and asked about their deal available on a voucher site, the receptionist explained that there's also another deal on the voucher site that might be more suitable to us as we have a little baby, and she was right. Once we arrived, checked in, went up to our room and it...

Next morning had breakfast - usual buffet breakfast - we asked for fried eggs which was not a problem. There was a problem with our tv in the room so they sent an electrician up to fix it...

Our recent stay at the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon was baffling. Mind you I am not talking about the staff one bit, that is the only thing the hotel has going for them is the nice staff. I was hesitant in leaving this review since past reviews that were left like this were handled unprofessionally by the manager and feel...

Had lovely two night stay here. Bedroom was favulous and facilities were good. The one criticism I have is food was a bit restrictive for me with few choices that suited my diet. Should have made the hotel well aware in advance rather than just when I arrived.

Stayed for two nights with my girlfriend just before valentines and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. The staff were friendly, food superb and boasts spacious rooms. It's also walking distance to anywhere in town you might like to visit. Will definitely be back.

First time here and it lived up to everything we had heard about it. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful surroundings. only complaint was the steak on the first night was a bit grizzly but otherwise the food was excellent.
