After we arrived at this well signposted B&B we were greeted by the delightful Eavan and she is indeed an outstanding hostess as others have noted. The room was wonderful but when one became availabe with an even better view, she kindly moved us without us even having to ask. The breakfasts were excellent and her local knowledge was great....

This B&B in Rosses Point, not far from Sligo town is a fabulous place to stay. The hospitality is amazing, the breakfast is a lot, varied and the best we ever had out of our home. All ingredients are from farms around. The room is clean, furnitured with a great taste. The owner is very friendly and helpful. We got...

Two of our group of four had the pleasure of staying for 5 nights in Down Yonder at the beginning of August 2015 and they were genuinely sad to leave Eavan's hospitality. Down Yonder in Rosses Point, a beautiful part of Sligo, has the atmosphere of home but with much better furniture, fittings and surroundings!! Eavan was the real host...

Eavan was an outstanding hostess. Great personality and nothing was a problem. The residence is a unique design with spacious rooms. The breakfast was of great variety and set me up for the day. Arriving late in the evening was met with a warm greeting and the offer of a cup of tea. Have stayed twice recently and it is...

Stayed here recently during a golfing trip and it was excellent. The rooms are modern, spacious and very comfortable. The next morning we had breakfast and it was one of the best we have ever had. It was freshly cooked and served with homemade brown bread. Would highly recommend.

This is a beautiful B&B located outside of Sligo overlooking the sea. The rooms are 5 star and the host Eavan is welcoming and helpful. The reviews written here are a true reflection of how great a place this is to stay.

If you're considering staying here - do read the reviews and make your booking. Its a delight to stay here and there is a variety of room configurations (we had a twin room+single with interconnecting bathroom.) The website cannot reflect the relaxing and welcoming atmosphere together with the quality of the furniture, fixtures and fittings. Eavan's welcome and wealth of...

Most lovely b&b. Amazing home and warm welcoming host. Recommend for a romantic get away. Feels like you have gone back in time, visiting scene from a romantic Victorian estate. We would definitely stay there again. The cake and breakfast were the best I've had.

Myself and 3 friends stayed at "Down Yonder" in Rosses Point Ireland for 2 nights and it was the best run Bed and Breakfast that I have ever stayed at. Eavan and her staff were as nice as they could be. When our baggage and golf clubs did not arrive at the same time we did, she was able to...

The food was great, the accommodations were beautiful and comfortable, the views incredible, but it was the hostess that made our trip to the Down Yonder so memorable. Our foursome was on a golfing vacation and the airline "lost" all of our luggage. Eavan was so helpful in making herself available to receive the wayward bags, and loaned us rain...
