Thanks you for the favorable review. I hoped you enjoyed your visit to Devils Den. Please visit us again soon. When they light the Christmas lights around the square it is amazing - definitely worth another trip to NWA!

Brought my son up here for a Razorback game and have been very happy with this hotel. We have stayed in several spots around town over the years and this will be our new regular. It’s very comfortable and impeccably clean.

I had such a wonderful stay in Springfield Candlewood, (5 stars), and reserved a room in Fayetteville. The staff were wonderful and at first blush everything was in order. After about 1 hour in the room the critters started to come out of hiding. In my never to be humble

WE DO NOT HAVE A BUG PROBLEM!! You can look at our long standing positive comments and see this. We regular get positive feedback that specifically mention the cleanliness of the hotel. We work diligently to insure our rooms are clean and safe. We get 2 visits a month from a national pest control company. We spray every room and outside regularly to insure that we don't have an issue. In this case, it was an after hours check in. Upon learning of the issue, the front desk attendant immediately offered to move them to another room and they declined, which seemed strange. The front desk associate then, offered to reduce the room's rate by $20 and was told this would be fine. When management got in the next day, the decision was made to totally credit the night but still wondered why they declined to move? Upon their check out, the room and all rooms beside and above were taken out of service for 3 days (it was a ground floor room so none were below). The pest control company came in on each day and sprayed as well as fumigated the rooms in question. We then inspected each room the afternoon of the 3rd day and 3 times on the next day to insure there were absolutely no insects or bugs of any kind. Housekeeping then came in changed all of the linens and bedding. Only then, did we reopen the rooms to be rented. As a Candlewood Suites, we are a property with 78 rooms that flies a nationally recognized IHG flag. We are only able to do this because we adhere to strict standards and protocol established by IHG. We follow all protocol and pass regular inspections multiple times a year. We, like every other hotel, can not pick and choose who stays with us. According to the company that handles our pest control, this was most likely an instance, where the issue was caused by a previous guest having unintentionally carried them in. This is a situation that can happen at any hotel. I think the most important thing was not the isolated incident itself, but the way it was handled. We felt terrible that our guest saw a pest so we did everything in our power to make it up to them. We then went above and beyond to rectify the issue and insure that every room we rent is as clean and safe as we can make it. I am the GM of this property and I am extremely proud of the product we present to our guests. I feel certain that this is an isolated event that was handled with the utmost professionalism! I hope that 1 review that mentions bugs will seen for what it is - 1 isolated occurrence.

This Candlewood hotel looks and feels like most others in this chain. The room supplies every comfort to suit a traveler ‘s needs— nothing fancy, just plain reliable. It is situated close enough to U of A to please Razorback fans. And, there are a couple of quick eating options

Well, I like to think we are a little better than just fine, but I do appreciate the 4 out of 5. We are actually the closest hotel to the University so many of our guests are here to visit a student or event at the campus. I am also very proud of the staff. I travel quite a bit and I intentionally stay in other IHG brands and specifically Candlewoods whenever possible. We coach the staff to be warm and friendly and I think they really excel with this. I appreciate you taking the time to comment on us and I hope you will visit us again soon!

We had to call & no one said it was behind Little Guys Moving Co. and it is not all that noticeable from the road. My GPS kept telling me that the address did not exist. We drove up and down MLK Blvd & frustrated--I called the hotel. They said it was opposite Waffle

I am sorry you had so much trouble finding the property - it is easy to miss it. Believe it or not, there is a 4' by 8' illuminated sign on the same stand as the Little Guys Moving Sign. You can get light touch housekeeping if you request it and we will swap out your wet towels for cleans ones as often as you need. While we love all of our guests, we especially cater to the extended stay traveler. This is why our room cleaning, standard policy, is once every 7 days. For the most part, our guests staying for extended time value their privacy and prefer us only change the sheets, once a week. Please visit us again!

Hey Vicki, we appreciate the question. We do have a shuttle set up for every football game but not for the basketball games. Candlewoods does have a shuttle Van that can be used at anytime by our guests, but for the basketball games, you would have to request it. If you need a shuttle, you would need to request it 24 hours in advance and there would be a fee. You will find that at basketball games, parking is still congested, but not nearly as bad as at the football games. If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us directly. GO HOGS!!

How far from airport?
We are only about 40 miles (25 minutes) to the XNA airport, which is the closet major airport. For a fee, we offer shuttle to and from the airport, if this helps. - SEAN
