My husband and I stayed at this hotel last Friday night, it was fabulous. The room was equipped with very comfortable beds, crisp clean linen, room had a fridge, safe deposit box, ice bucket, 2 bottles of water, ample wardrobe space, clock, TV, tea/coffee making facility and biscuits. The ensuite was a good size and had good quality towels and...

We were a group of 12 ladies of different nationalities on our annual Club jaunt in Ireland - this time to explore all that Co. Sligo has to offer. This accommodation was a perfect springboard to enjoy the walk up Knocknarea, the coast, the nearby seaweed baths, Glencar, Drumcliffe, etc etc! The breakfast was great - fresh fruit, variety of...

A wonderful stay. My first time visiting Strandhill. The first delight was the very reasonably priced accommodation, clean and pristine with everything one needed available. Friendly helpful staff giving us a warm friendly welcome. The stay was indeed helped by wonderful sunny weather, but the bedroom and additional facilities in the Strandhill Lodge was such that the stay would have...

One night stay in Room 208. Checking in was great - friendly welcome and detailed explanation of the premises, amenities and suggestions on what to do where to eat etc in the local area. The room was nice - outstanding view enhanced by the balcony access which afforded a great view of the setting sun. Seating is provided however I...

My third year returning to this place. Always clean, staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Beautifully situated in strandhill close to local amenities with nice views. Rooms spacious, very clean and fresh. Bathroom lovely. If I was going to be picky the shower was average, attached to the bath and with limited power. But this is really being fussy. The...

I loved this place! Upon entering, we were greeted warmly at the front desk (by the owner I believe). He checked us in and gave us a map of the town. Asked us about dinner. Made reservations for us next door at The Venue - a small but nice touch! Little area to the left of the desk for sitting,...

Introduced to this billet by a friend, my party of four were overwhelmed by the wonderful reception from David and his staff. This scenic beauty overlooking Knocknarea has all that is amazing to me about Irish culture.everyone appears so friendly and proud of there circumstances. In a negative world it is gratifying that such places still exist. The view apart,...

Check in was great with a very friendly welcome from the receptionist who brought us to our room. The room was lovely, quiet and very comfortable. Breakfast was very disappointing. The girls on duty didn't even say good morning. Very limited choice and we were constantly looking for items bread, milk, etc.

We had booked three rooms in the Strandhill Lodge & Suites for two nights whilst on a work training event. Staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout. The rooms (with balcony view) were great - beautiful view to wake up to. Everything clean, tidy and working. Happy to recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.
