We booked the Meath Arms Country Inn as we were attending a wedding at Ballybeg House. Convenient location as only 10-12 minutes drive from wedding venue. Well serviced in evening time by local taxi. Hotel was clean, quaint and wonderfully warm. We had the Meath Suite, which is located on the top floor. Very spacious room with modern bathroom. Bedding...

Having spent a wonderful week touring around Ireland on a budget I decided to splash out on my last day and booked a room at the Meath Arms Country Inn. On arrival I was met by an elderly gentleman at reception who showed me to my room, he wasn’t over friendly, there were no pleasantries and although he was not...

This inn is everything you would expect from a country inn. The host is lovely, and very accommodating, he cannot do enough for you. Great service. The town is very picturesque. We stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. Most rooms do not have a TV. Lovely breakfast, great variety.

What a quaint place. It looks nothing from the outside but inside it's full of beautiful furniture and family photos and history. Amazing, having been in one family for 4 generations. It felt like I was visiting my grandmother who's home I dearly loved. The breakfast room was truely beautiful. Gerry organised a taxi for me in the morning to...

I stayed here for two nights while attending a wedding at Ballybeg house. The location is ideal, only a 10 minute drive. Gerry is the perfect host, he was so warm and friendly and really made the stay enjoyable. The hotel is lovely, full of character, and the room was very clean and comfortable.

My family of six adults and two infants stayed in three rooms for four nights as part of a family wedding. The rooms we stayed in were small but clean. The beds were comfortable. The best part of the experience was getting to know the owners, two brothers, and becoming familiar with Irish country hospitality. They treated us to drinks...

We enjoyed a comfortable night and a great Irish breakfast from local produce. We didn't arrive until 2am as we were at a wedding. Clean and well looked after with safe parking on the high street beside. Friendly and helpful host. Good facilities and wifi.
