Located in full nature, this hotel could become a reference among hotels in nature as soon as they make an investment that achieves modern and luxurious facilities since it was built in the 60s and has undergone little improvement since then.
An amazing location. A return visit for me to this escapist Paradore - miles from anywhere and set in lush vegetation at the top of a very windy road! Aparently built in the 1960's but feels much older. Decor is sort of country lodge. Spacious public areas. Bedrooms and bathrooms could really do with a refurb but the place has a certain charm about it. Very relaxing stay here. The views are amazing. Total tranquility. Good restaurant on site- good job as nearest other restaurant is a good few km away ! Efficient and friendly staff. Time now to depart to my other mountain retreat and I hope to re- surface in Puerto de Mazarron late August - covid19 permitting the travelling.
A hideaway in the mountains - beautiful location- very friendly staff and good food and wine. The parador was built in 1965 and it is looking very tired and dated - however any refurb - would need to consider its location - it was clean and comfy bed
Not up to my usual Parador expectations or experience. Reception were very helpful. Room had overpainted bathroom tiles which was not attractive. Waiter service was poor. But wonderful position. Great for walkers and cyclists. Do not rely on satnav position. It is a further 20km.
The welcome, service, food and ambience were all outstanding. We were unexpectedly given a room upgrade to a junior suite which was lovely. A complimentary welcome drink in the lounge by the fire got things off to a good start and it just got better from there.
