We love this family run hotel restaurant. The service is friendly and efficient and the rooms are clean and comfortable. There are ensuite facilities and Wi-Fi is available but the signal strength is not good. The menu for the evening meal gives a number of choices for local dishes and the breakfast provides tostadas, cold meats, cheese and a variety of sweet items such as magdalenas. The locality is ideal for birdwatching and enjoying the wildlife.

This rural hotel is in a super location and provides a warm friendly atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable with en-suite facilities. There is a bar and restaurant and the meals are excellent. The surround countryside is ideal for walking and birdwatching and is close to some important wildlife areas.

Room was adequate, old style, (no - just old), tired but clean. The bar area had a full sized stuffed antelope type thing which made me think, hunting lodge. A few drinks in the bar, pleasant enough then dinner in the restaurant. The Spanish food on offer was quite goodish, no breakfast for us. The hotel is set up for walkers really. The bathroom fans managed to keep me awake quite a bit. Not for a romantic get away.

This hotel, location and family have been one of our favorite country retreats for many years. The hotel bar is a stop off for locals as it is located in the middle of the park and adds atmosphere. The hotel is located in a quiet area although it is on the main road it is enjoyable to sit on the porch and watch the world drive by, the Jabali at night, deer in the park next to the hotel. The meals are local dishes and all good. We stay for several days as there is so much to do at the park and the longer we stay the more relaxing it is. It is our escape to feel that we are back in Spain and enjoy why we all come and live here. The park is beautiful year round and offers different sites and activities by the season. This family owned hotel/Restaurant is most welcoming. Enjoy being in a national park and don't be rushed relax and enjoy what is offered. Some Spanish is needed although the menu is in English and Spanish. Breakfast is country style of toast and condiments, olive oil, butter, pate, etc., juice, coffee or te. As much as we wanted. Love the dinners. The fireplace, porch, salon are relaxing and the bar local. We will return to this location as often as possible.
