I did the starter trail and I had a good week but there is some room. The accomodation was good, nice rooms and a pool. The food could have been better, I've gotten much better food on other trails I've done. The riding is a bit boring because it's mostly walking. The scenery was beautiful in some places and rather...

Located in the outskirts of Fuengirola, we were one afternoon through a dirt way by car, not easy to reach without GPS. The staff was several serious girls from Germany, We took a ride with a group of 8 horses along the forest and the hill with amazing views of landscape. Obedient horses, even for a rookie rider like me...

Was a real experience for me to ride in such a beautiful surroundings. The horses were very well trained and was a pleasure to ride on them. The female guides were friendly and professional. Is a perfect place if you love horses

Rancho la paz is not flawless though still an excellent place. Expect: Cheerful, competent and helpful instructors/guides who speak English, Spanish and German. Calm, well keeped and trustworthy horses. Beautiful view in the mountains. Clean, airconditoned rooms with good storage. Nice pool with shade. Meals at 8, 14 and 21.30 in summertime. Steep slopes and riding close to the edge....

We had 2 hour trail with my friend along with 5 other people. Horses were well trained and nice to handle. Both our horses had so nice walk, trot and canter that you could easily just sit down and relax while riding. Saddles were but weird at first but very comfy when you get used to long stirrups, quite the...

I visited the ranch last week for a 2 hour ride during a week's stay in Fuengirola. I was picked up and dropped off at my hotel in Torreblanca and the ride itself was very good. I'm a reasonably experienced rider but except for a brief riding holiday in Andalusia 5 years ago I had very little experience of riding...

Wonderful morning trekking through the mountains, great fun for beginners and professionals alike. I have t been on a horse since I was 7 years old, lots of advice/tips before you're allowed to set off, followed by a 2 hour trek through the mountains with the staff. A great day and will definitely be back!!

I had this 2 hour trip last week which actually last about 3 hours. It was easy to book for the next day. They were happy to pick me up from my hotel and back for a good price, even though I was the only one they picked up from the town. This is a big horse farm with nice...

We visited Rancho la paz for just a day trip to go on a 2 hour hack. The ranch was well sign posted from the roads but I wouldn't go up in your own car as the roads are pretty rough. We first went in the morning to book for an afternoon ride at 4. We were matched up with...

We have been to the ranch twice already and have tried 2 different trail rides over 7 days each. While the accommodation and food at the ranch are quite basic, the trail rides are really to be recommended. Very well organised and the horses are generally in good condition and well adapted to the terrain. One negative point is that...

“We chose the 5pm ride but it was still so hot. We like the heat but if you do not like it so hot, you may want to choose the early morning ride which was at 9am.”

“really liked my room with the sunny terrace 9although for light sleepers it might be better to ask for a room at the other side, as the horses can make some noise in the morning”
