Arriving at night Oct 16 from the train, the entrance on a dark cul de sac, can be difficult to find. Once inside it's a delight, all tiles ,white pillars and plaster walls with green plants everywhere. My room 135 seemed to be the farthest from the entrance and so quiet that I did not see another occupant. The swimming pools were closed for the drought The restaurant is small but the breakfast selection was top class. I did not have dinner The location was perfect for me close to the train and Marina It has a high level of cleanliness and the reception staff were friendly, I choose it from the photos and I will definitely return.

Hey, Guest! A million thanks for your thoughtful review. We're thrilled to hear you found our hotel's Spanish style and location to your liking, and it's wonderful that our breakfast selection impressed you! It's also great to know that our commitment to cleanliness met your standards and that our reception staff made you feel welcome. We do apologize for any inconvenience caused by the pool closure, which was due to the drought conditions we're facing. Rest assured, we are always looking for ways to ensure our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay despite such external challenges. We hope to welcome you back. Best wishes, Ona Las Rampas

A lovely hotel where all the staff go out of their way to help. Spotlessly clean in all public areas and our room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Our room (206) was large and airy with a walk in shower and close to reception, which suited us very well. Aircon was quiet and effective and nothing extra to pay for use, as is the case in some hotels. The pool is very clean with comfortable sunbeds and a few umbrellas. It has steps down into the pool, (also great for me), as well as ladders. The location is very central for access to many restaurants and bars, as well as the beach. We hired a car for a few days and the hotel has a private area in a nearby carpark, completely secure, for 8 euros a day, and as parking is at a premium we found this to be excellent. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on this. We have stayed here a few times now and it never disappoints! Thank you to all the staff....we had a wonderful holiday!

We stay in this hotel everytime we come to Fuengirola. This will be my sixth time now.

The staff at reception and the cleaning team are really professional and friendly. They always have lovely warm smiles on their faces regardless of the time of day. They are the best thing about the hotel and an absolute asset!

The rooms get complaints at times for not having a balcony however, we have never found this to be a problem as there is seating in the central quad area and places to fry your towels.

The rooms are cleaned daily and the cleanliness of the hotel is immaculate. It even has the most beautiful smell as you walk through reception.

The one thing that let the hotel down this time was the pool area. The pool has always been small with limited numbers of beds but we have never found this to be a problem however, this year it was. It seemed that the number of sun loungers had reduced and there was a piled in the corner of the pool area of broken loungers.

We stayed for ten days and the pool terrace or the pool itself did not seem to get cleaned or drained in this time and there was quite a lot of sand at the bottom of the pool. All of this can be easily rectified though.

The standard of service, central location and cleanliness of the hotel means we would definitely return however, every other year this hotel would have been a 5/5 however the pool area brought it down this year to a 4.

We came for a few days in the sun because we love the Costa del Sol and especially Fuengirola. We usually choose to stay in an apartment but thought we would try a hotel. It’s easy to hop on the train from Malaga airport which is what we did so we wanted a hotel quite close to Fuengirola station. This couldn’t have been much better and it’s also very convenient for the centre and all the many restaurants and bars.
From the outside it doesn’t look particularly impressive because it’s actually on the 2nd floor of the building. But once you get up there it’s hard to believe that such a lovely place is there! The decor is so pretty and very Spanish. It’s much bigger than you would imagine. Our room was a good size and had excellent air con. The only thing is that there’s nowhere to hang wet swimming costumes or towels. There’s no balcony so you can’t dry them out of the window.
The pool is nice but there are insufficient sun beds. Unless you get up there as it opens you have no chance. Selfish people (as everywhere) put towels or other belongings on the beds and then disappear for as long as it suits them. We literally saw two beds from 10am - 3pm just being hogged - and nobody came near them until 3pm. There are no staff at the pool but I think it could do with someone as there were also ill behaved kids while we were there, making a nuisance of themselves. Apart from that it’s a pleasant pool.
Breakfast was included in the price and it was very good with plenty of choice.
Would definitely stay again when visiting Fuengirola.

Where do I start? Me and a few friends booked this hotel only a few weeks ago purely based on location and price. Arrived today and the guys on reception were very professional and friendly and checking in was a breeze. The rooms are just perfect. Decent size, aircon and very clean. We popped up to the pool later on and, again, just lovely! I really think this hotel is underestimated by many. It’s traditional layout and finishes tick every box for me. Keep up the good work Las Ramplas. I will definitely return!

We booked this hotel, very short notice as we couldn't stay where we had booked, but that's another story. This hotel is in the centre of Fuengirola, withing easy reach of the beach, the road train, the Bio Parc, all the shops, bus and train station (all walkable)
The reception staff were very helpful, we needed a tea tray, extention leads, pool towels, change vouchers, helped organise getting the mobility scooter up there. They were very patient and helpful. The rooms were accessible for us, big walk in shower, plenty of room and clean. Comfy beds
The only slight improvement I feel they could make would be to provide some sun brollies and little tables for around the pool. The bed numbers are restricted atm but brollies and tables would have been nice.
The cafe downstairs, part of Las Rampas were lovely.
Well done to all

I was stunned that a three star hotel could be so great. The location is perfect the rooms are big and clean. The buffet is small but perfectly cooked and fresh food. The staff are amazing far better than most hotels I've stayed at. The kettle needs a deposit but is great.

The hotel has a good location within minutes of the train station, strip and beach. It’s above a shopping area with smelly drains around the entrance but once inside it’s clean and spacious. Firm beds but well equipped spacious rooms. The pool is basic but an added bonus for the price

Our stay was ok, just ok. We had 6 rooms between our group. The rooms were clean but whatever cleaning chemicals were used left a vile smell stronger in some rooms than others on different days.
The hotel could do with an update. It’s in a good location and quite close to the centre and reasonably priced for what you get.

Perfect,, mini break with a friend, what a gem the hotel photos do not do it justice.
Greeted by Sylvia, she was so warm and welcoming, made the check in perfect.
it's clean ,pretty,Spanish looking rather than a generic block.
Room perfect , fridge ,air con ,safe 2.50 euros a day. Air-conditioning free.
Bathroom clean, bath, shower, sink, fresh towels, what more do you need.

Location ,,2 minutes from train, bus station 2 minutes from weed cafe !!!!! What a bonus ...
The strip and night life 1 minuteaway but yet not intruding on the location of the otel is hidden!
For good quality food go two streets back onto the city WOW pretty streets ,local foods, tapas bars great.
Just explore there so much to see.
I didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment.

Hi there Rachele! It’s great to receive such positive feedback! Thanks for taking the time to share. We're thrilled to hear that you found our hotel to be a hidden gem and that Sylvia's warm welcome made your check-in perfect. It's great to know that the cleanliness and amenities of the room met your expectations. We're also glad the location provided you with convenient access to transport and some unexpected delights close by. While it seems you didn't get a chance to try our restaurant, we hope you'll consider it on your next visit, as we've got a variety of national and international dishes that we're quite proud of.
