The staff at reception and the cleaning team are really professional and friendly. They always have lovely warm smiles on their faces regardless of the time of day. They are the best thing about the hotel and an absolute asset!
The rooms get complaints at times for not having a balcony however, we have never found this to be a problem as there is seating in the central quad area and places to fry your towels.
The rooms are cleaned daily and the cleanliness of the hotel is immaculate. It even has the most beautiful smell as you walk through reception.
The one thing that let the hotel down this time was the pool area. The pool has always been small with limited numbers of beds but we have never found this to be a problem however, this year it was. It seemed that the number of sun loungers had reduced and there was a piled in the corner of the pool area of broken loungers.
We stayed for ten days and the pool terrace or the pool itself did not seem to get cleaned or drained in this time and there was quite a lot of sand at the bottom of the pool. All of this can be easily rectified though.
The standard of service, central location and cleanliness of the hotel means we would definitely return however, every other year this hotel would have been a 5/5 however the pool area brought it down this year to a 4.
From the outside it doesn’t look particularly impressive because it’s actually on the 2nd floor of the building. But once you get up there it’s hard to believe that such a lovely place is there! The decor is so pretty and very Spanish. It’s much bigger than you would imagine. Our room was a good size and had excellent air con. The only thing is that there’s nowhere to hang wet swimming costumes or towels. There’s no balcony so you can’t dry them out of the window.
The pool is nice but there are insufficient sun beds. Unless you get up there as it opens you have no chance. Selfish people (as everywhere) put towels or other belongings on the beds and then disappear for as long as it suits them. We literally saw two beds from 10am - 3pm just being hogged - and nobody came near them until 3pm. There are no staff at the pool but I think it could do with someone as there were also ill behaved kids while we were there, making a nuisance of themselves. Apart from that it’s a pleasant pool.
Breakfast was included in the price and it was very good with plenty of choice.
Would definitely stay again when visiting Fuengirola.
The reception staff were very helpful, we needed a tea tray, extention leads, pool towels, change vouchers, helped organise getting the mobility scooter up there. They were very patient and helpful. The rooms were accessible for us, big walk in shower, plenty of room and clean. Comfy beds
The only slight improvement I feel they could make would be to provide some sun brollies and little tables for around the pool. The bed numbers are restricted atm but brollies and tables would have been nice.
The cafe downstairs, part of Las Rampas were lovely.
Well done to all
The hotel could do with an update. It’s in a good location and quite close to the centre and reasonably priced for what you get.

"Just the pool situation whilst the hotel is busy. But as I say the beach is just up the road."Read full review
