Good for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
The hotel is very quiet, it is 50 meters from the beach. The room was small, but well used, with a small terrace that did not have a table or clothesline (I always carry rope to set one up). The television is small. The two beds cannot be joined together, since the table is fixed. It shares a dining room, swimming pools and other facilities with the Monarque Fuengirola Park hotel, to which it is attached. All the staff are very good. The receptionists are charming, the cleanliness of the facilities and rooms is adequate. The food is good, varied and abundant, with no problems with location or replacement except at two specific times (15 days with three meals). Highlight César, the dining room manager, for his kindness, treatment, humor and ability to solve any problem.

Spent four nights at Hotel Monarque Cendrillón (booked 2 rooms as we are a family of 4). We were given rooms on the 1st floor as requested. Adrian and Raul on the reception were very kind and helpful. We were on all inclusive and thought it was good value. Crisps and icecream /lollies were also available. All inclusive was on until midnight. We only ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel, buffet style. The restaurant staff were very friendly. There was a little entertainment at night, live music, mainly elderly Spanish guests took part. No problem getting a sunbed at 10am, the gardens are quite spacious. We had stayed at Fuengirola Park 10 years ago - it's still very similar apart from all inclusive option now. We would return as we like more typically Spanish hotels, but it is situated in the quieter area of Torreblanca, so it's not for you if you're wanting to party!

Plenty of reviews of this hotel.remember this this hotels pool , restaurant, garden and facilities are all used by the much larger sister hotel fuengirola park. Staff are fantastic, the place is spotless. Five stars 💐 Hotel rooms for two very acceptable, yes shower is a hose but still good.If you have a room facing the main road you will need ear plugs. Road noise really loud.you will have to use them in any room as when people come and go in this hotel when I was there they were loud. All inclusive means alot of drunk and noisy people, not the hotel s fault. Food I loved, five stars 🤩🤩 Overall a really good hotel..but ear plugs a must.

The restaurant in the hotel is very large in area, because it serves guests from two related hotels.
There is an unpleasant odor in the restaurant that can be noticed immediately upon entering, probably due to chemical treatment. The restaurant is very noisy, as chairs make loud noises when pulled out from tables, plus very noisy English pensioners, although the local Spanish ones try to keep up with them.
The food is very monotonous, boring, and becomes tiresome after 3 days. Breakfast is especially dull, and although there seems to be a choice for lunch and dinner, the food itself is tasteless. It's mass-produced, I would say conveyor-belt food, designed for quantity rather than quality.
The food is also very greasy - pasta floats in cold water, fish is all in oil, fried eggs are swimming in oil to the point you could blot/soak them, and the meat/fish is fatty. It's very unhealthy food, and this is the biggest drawback.
In addition, we saw a fat cockroach near the "cakes and pastries" section - see the photo. And if you want to see cockroaches upfront, just open the lid of the ice cream compartment, and you'll see about half a dozen cockroaches crushed by the lid itself, which no one even bothers to clean up.
Dishes are often greasy, with food remnants, with some yellowish stains on the plates. The coffee is simply terrible. The juice is artificial. Desserts are tasteless.
Overall, the impression is very negative - we were so reluctant to eat in the hotel restaurant that despite having paid for full board, we were forced to eat in restaurants in town.
The hotel owners need to decide: either they want to save money, whatever the outcome may bw or they need to change the chef because this food is inedible.
We do not recommend this hotel - it has only one positive aspect: it's a two-minute walk to the beach, and that's where it ends.
The sound insulation in the hotel is poor, all doors slam, and the staff is quite helpless. You'll end up more tired than rested!
Overall, we rate it a C minus.

I spent a long time choosing, and the choice fell on this hotel based on reviews in all respects.. I was accommodated immediately when I arrived, at 10:20. The room was clean, comfortable. The grounds were well-kept, the staff was friendly, responsive. The food was good, I took breakfast + lunch + dinner. The choice of dishes is large, for every taste, meat, fish, vegetables, fruits, baked goods. I would recommend this hotel for choice. The most important thing is that from Malaga airport you can take the train directly to Tervolina station, and about 10 minutes on foot. I found it quickly!! I would return I would be happy to recommend it to friends. But!!! According to my habit, I don’t stay at the same hotel again and again. But I recommend it!!!!

I didn’t expect such a lovely hotel .. the rooms are very basic but you have a tv aircon and a fridge … the shared hotel pool was lovely and clean … the food was so nice you have multiple choices of what you could eat and you would definitely fill a plate with a lovely selection… chicken pork fish pizza kebabs plenty of fruit and salad .. good selection of bread fries and potatoes. .. every day there would be different main dishes but most of them were very nice … as for drinks 🍹 they had real coke cola San Miguel Fanta orange and lemon, wines , sangria and the bar was not shy with the spirits a big glass with ice which was lovely… the staff were so so friendly.. I would definitely go back to this hotel its 100% value for money Such a relaxing family hotel … I can also say the sun lounge area was spread out and you would find a spot any time of the day … without rushing out to grab a bed like most hotels. We didn’t want to go home …

A disaster. We arrived this afternoon, We had the Impression of disturbing the person at the reception, icy welcome. Factory food without flavor,Aging rooms, to flee. An English or German clientele, very very very old!!! We're going to shorten our stay at this Pension.

The hotel was okay food wasn't that great! Not a lot of selection. Rooms were comfortable and clean, pool was lovely. Beach not far to walk too and pubs but not very many on the beach front. Enjoyed our stay but would go to this location again. Train station close by.

I will start of by saying great food, lovely pool and clean all over. The only problem we had was one of the life guards. He had a right problem with any English people in the pool. He told my children off for playing with water guns even though the Spanish kids there were doing the same and it was fine for them. He complained that they got people in the pool wet with the guns. Don’t want to get wet don’t get in a pool. He would stare at my kids constantly to the point it was getting uncomfortable. I get we were in his country but we weren’t being rude or anything and if he doesn’t like the English, don’t work in a hotel were English people will visit. I didn’t let him ruin my holiday but he really had problem with anyone English in the pool.

This hotel was clean, well placed for the beach and bars/ shopping but still just enough off the beaten track that it was quiet at night. Food wasn't the best but still edible, all in all for the money it was great. It shares grounds, bars and pool with the larger Fuengirola Park Hotel so a good tip would be to see which is cheaper for your stay then book the cheaper as it is esentially the same holiday also Use the "renfe" train which stops 200 yards behind the hotel for your airport transfers, very cheap very easy to use and stops inside the airport. Will save you a lot of money and it's quicker and safer than the roads.
