This was beautiful... The little apts had everything you'd need, they were cleaned 3 times a week with sheets changed during the week. Overall the general hotel was beautiful, around the pool area was a little neglected due to off peak season, but it was being done up while we were there. As expected usual seasonal bars were closed but it didn't affect our stay. Food on premises is good and cheap, recommend full breakfast €7 and the games room with pool tables was a win. The area was beautiful with an enormous shopping centre "Miramar" right next door, with a multitude of restaurants to dine in both day and night. Go cart racing is held on top of the shopping centre building also. Beautiful beach a 5 minute stroll away and town is about 20 minutes walk but reception will call a taxi for you and be there in 1 minute... no messing .... the tourist sea front strip with restaurants not even 10 minutes stroll. We enjoyed going into town though and dining outside on the streets with the locals and there is an absolute massive selection of restaurants and bars to choose from in Fuengirola. Food everywhere was great and reasonable. Overall, it was beautiful and we had a wonderful family weeks holidays and lucky enough to have 21 degree heat most days which really was the icing on the cake!

We arrived late at night and checking was seamless. The guy was very helpful. Just one thing to remember if you arrive late, the kitchens are closed at 11 so there was no food available other than packets of crisps at the bar and the nearest open supermarket is over 10 minutes walk away , and difficult to find when you’ve just arrived and you’re tired.
The pool area is massive. Lots of sunbeds, didn’t struggle to get any and there were three of us, the pool itself is cold as usual.
I saw a review that said the patatas bravas were amazing so I thought I’d try them. Don’t bother. They are effectively frozen potato cubes with sauce drizzled over the top and the pizzas at €9 just looked like the Tesco 99p ones so not impressed. Coriander restaurant on the front, about a 10minute walk, served much better pizzas. Really authentic stone baked and only 8.50euros. The apartment is very nice and clean however I wasn’t provided with a light duvet for the sofa bed which was on the beds not a problem as it was warm enough. Our bathroom had a bath with shower over, great for us as prefer a bath. Not sure if all rooms are the same. They provide soap, small bottles of shampoo and bath gel but not great quality, I took my own anyway. No loo brush! The balcony is massive. It has two exits, patio doors from the lounge and from the bedroom so lots of room. We
were in room 319 and we had the sun all day. It looked out over the castle.
The tv had English channels, 401 onwards, handy to have while waiting for teenagers to wake up. I am a very early riser!
We didn’t watch the entertainment so can’t comment but the games room is large and kept my teenagers happy. 2euros for pool and 1 for air hockey. Bar- 4 euros for pint of cruzcampo, 3.60 for glass of wine.
There’s a large shopping mall literally across the road that has a massive supermarket, carrefour, and much cheaper than the smaller shops. Was a godsend as we had bad weather on our last day.

Nice Apartments good space inside we had a one and two bedroomed. Pool view for the two bedroomed apartment which was nice, castle view for the one bed. Enough plugs two at sides of the beds, two in kitchen. The wardrobe was big enough but not many coat hangers. The room was clean but like most apartments they could do with a little wiping down in some areas more (deepclean) not all cutlery clean either, however I always take antibacterial wipes and there was extra bin bags, dish cloth, tea towel and sweeping brush inside a cupboard. Large balcony which is a plus. English channels on TV. There is a supermarket across the road inside the shopping mall to buy fresh bread, baggettes, cakes, fruit, everything you need. Also lots of food places in the shopping centre KFC, subway, burger King, pad tai and that's just a few. The pool area is clean and snack bar food available we ate there twice for lunch. The pool opens 8am and there is a gate for the staff to unlock, always got a sunbed the pool stay open quiet late compared to other hotels and apartments. Only complaint about the pool is there is not enough shade and the umbrellas are small and not portatable. Kids enjoyed the games room in the basement and the massage chairs 1 euro for 5minue. The beach is a 5minute walk down past the lake water and we took a wheelchair which was easy enough. Once at the beach if you walk left there are shops and bars and restaurants the Indian is lovely rogan josh and the prawn puree with peshawar nan are delicious and worth the walk. We had a day out to the biopark it is worth a visit if you are there not very wheelchair friendly quiet hilly, we did manage to walk back tho and it took around 25 minutes.
Overall I enjoyed my stay at fuengirola Beach Aparthotel and would come back. Reception staff helpful and bar and cleaning staff all very pleasant.

We have visited this hotel countless times since it opened in 2001.
This is our 3rd time in 2024 and we will be back in November (my wife also came alone in May).
I have read reviews by other guests and make the following observations:
Those who are complaining appear not to have done so until after they left by leaving a bad review. Our experience is that if you raise concerns whilst you are there, they listen and almost always act. Including moving rooms if they can possibly accommodate that. Even if you’re on a package, if you contact them in advance with preferences like a quiet room high floor, they will try to sort it out.
The orientation of the hotel means not all rooms get sun all day long, in fact most get either morning or afternoon sun and in some cases only for a short period of the day. They cannot control nature, so don’t complain about that.
There is some road noise, the motorway is close by. However, if you keep the doors closed at night it should not be an issue. I’m a light sleeper and it doesn’t bother me.
You may hear reviews saying someone got mugged. These things can happen, although in 20+ years of coming here multiple times, we have never experienced it. My wife has been alone here several times, we both feel safe with that. Same as you would do anywhere, walking alone late at night in dimly lit places is not a good idea.
It’s a family hotel, they try to cater for all guests. Sometimes you may not want the entertainment or the animation activities, they make no apology for trying to cater for everyone. The pool is large and they have plenty of beds, you should always be able to find some, if not in your preferred location. They try to deter guests from queuing and leaving towels. If you see it report it to the staff.
It doesn’t have a formal restaurant but has a food offer with the usual poolside meals and offer a service for breakfast and meals from the main bar too.
We love this hotel, which is why we keep coming back and we have developed a relationship with many of the staff by talking to them.
Please don’t leave a bad review without seeking someone out at reception first. Our experience is that they always try to do their best. Including throwing people out of the hotel who came on a package and decided to have a big brawl in the bar. (Many years ago now).
It’s a friendly family hotel, with friendly helpful staff, they don’t always get it right 100% of the time because they are human. But given the chance will make it right if you just politely ask them.

We just home from staying in what I would say a wonderful and highly recommended hotel. We traveled we with two other couples and had a great time.
The hotel I have to say is very very clean. You can even smell the cleanish in the hotel. There is people and all they do is clean clean clean. Public toilets are spotless. Pool area spotless. Sunbeds and table spotless.
Rooms are nice, spacious and very clean. Our room was facing the road. No noise at night. If you wanted to eat in hotel food was lovely and the price we found was very reasonable. They have a happy hour 5 to 6 at pool bar and 6 to 7 at main bar which is great.
We were leaving yesterday 12th July. We had to be out of room by 12pm and our flight wasn’t till 10pm. We left our bags down at reception and we could book a shower down stairs in shower rooms( would advise book day before). We book shower for 4.30pm asked around 4.25 could I go down and reply was NO cause they are cleaning showers after the last couple which I thought was great.
You do have to cue for sunbeds early in morning. Which I think when you check in you should get a ticket and allocate sunbeds for your stay.
Would I go back there again YES 100 precent.

We just got home from this hotel and felt there were some great and not so great bits! We travelled as a family of 4 which was 2 adults and 2 children aged 1 and 2. The hotel itself is clean and has everything you need poolbar was great and there was always sunbeds whenever we went. We ate at the poolbar and got pizzas on an evening once and the food was nice and drinks good though they are cheaper at the bars. They do have a happy hour at the hotel where you can get 2 for 1 on selected drinks. We went to the pool when they had just opened a few times and felt this was the best time with younger kids as it was abit quieter. The rooms had everything you needed and the supermarket across the road was brilliant and we went most days for essentials. The main issue we had was The first day we arrived we quickly learned that the entertainment is extremely loud and we had been placed in a room right directly above it. The main entertainment doesn’t start till 10pm which obviously having 2 very small children and being placed directly above the noise wasn’t great and we did have issues with the kids getting to sleep and being woken up most nights. We did get used to it as the week went on but wasn’t ideal. The hotel is in a good place with a short walk to the beach and not too far to the main strip. We found the bars and restaurants a few streets back were the nicer places to eat. The hotel overall has everything you need and in a good location. We just felt the entertainment starts abit too late and the pools don’t open until 10am so trying to kill some time from 6am till then with 2 very small kids we had to be inventive but it wouldn’t stop us coming again if we were placed on the road side or away from the noise.

Wife and I just gotback from 8 days at this aparthotel.I can only agree with all the other good reviews on here.
The location I thought was good. Only a pleasant 10 mins from the beach. You are then at the quiet end of the beach .Sunbeds are 7 euro each for all day.Shades free.
Getting into the town/ resort centre is a 20 min walk along prom.
We used a bus service that stops right outside. It is 1.20 euro into town.Coming back is same, you stay on till end of bus run whic terminates behind the big shopping mall on other side of hotel. 3 minwalk back to hotel Only one bus on this route the No 1. It is the blue lne which means the bus stop plzqies are blue in colour so you cannot go wrong.
In town most people will go at least once to Fish alley which is a small lane parallel to prom which is full of restaurants.Nothing cheap though.Beware of O, Briens Irish pub there whereI paid 12 euros for 2 pints of local beer which was more expensive than the apartotel.
Just outside the aparthotel is the Miramar shopping mall which has a few eateries and a huge Carrefour supermarket so no supply issues.
The apartotel itself was faultless. Free wifi in room.A safe which costs 3 euro plus a day.Nice kitchen fully equipped.Good size tv with all the British tv channels which I found onchannels 67 and upwards.Air con effective. Bathroom more than adequate, bath a bit slippery so I asked for a rubber bath mat which was provided.
Some little tip:1.When you enter the sea there is a couple pf feet sudden drop so be careful if a bit wobbly on legs. Also quite large waves can batter you getting out.
2.We eat at the italian beneath the hotel Ginos. Food was nice at 15 euroish per meal. We also eat on prom at place called Coriander where we had a good curry for same sort of price.
Bach to hotel, pool area very nice plenty of sun beds when we were the and water temp was fine.
Pool barwas okay. Pint of local beer cost 4 euros.Snacks availabe eg burger and chips about 7 euro.
Summing I recommend this apartotel. You will not be disappointed.
As far as rooms go, some have balconies on pool side, others on road side with castle view. We were in the latter. There is some road noise but thing to look at.Once you close patio doors you wiil hear nothing.
Have a great holiday.

Beautiful apartments. Absolutely spotless everywhere. Lovely food & drinks in both poolside bar and main bar. Rooms are perfect with nice view. Situated right next door to huge Miramar shopping centre. Perfect facilities for our 8 & 10 year olds - pool games, football games, separate games room downstairs, laundry room. All areas immaculate.
Main pool is gated so towels left on sunbeds at 6am not an issue. Gate is opened at 10am daily so small Q for sunbeds then, and it's first come first served basis which is fair.
Staff very friendly and willing to help.
Short walk into shops restaurants etc about 20 mins.
Taxi rank outside shopping centre next door where you will get a taxi no problem. If u wait for one at hotel door, they are hard to get!
Zoo and waterpark are nearby.
Would definitely recommend this place to any family, its lovely.
One small thing. We were on 4th floor and could hear the traffic at night/morning from nearby dual carriageway but this wasn't excessive. You couldn't hear this around the pool during the day and pool was very relaxing.
Bar seemed to be open til 1.30 when we were there in August. Great atmosphere and noise was not excessive.

We have just returned from 10 days at Fuengirola Beach, we are a family of 2 adults and 2 older teenagers. The hotel is lovely with great facilities. The games room is large and has lots to do, although we didn’t end up using it very much. My son used the gym most days which was clean and well equipped. The pool area is nice and clean with the pool bar open from 12pm. The pool opens at 10 am and people place their bags from at least 7am at the gates creating an early queue. When we did queue we always found a bed so it’s a bit uneccesary really. We found the best times to use the pool were when it opened up to about midday and later on after 5 (it’s open until 9pm) as it is very busy at other times. There is also a sports court where people were often playing football but we booked it for tennis a few times later in the day which was great, just a 5 euro deposit to hire balls and racquets.
The shopping centre over the road has literally everything you could need, my teenagers enjoyed the shops there. There is a bus that stops outside the hotel that will take you into the town centre to the old town and train station which was very convenient. The beach is a short walk and we found our end of the beach was nicer and quieter than the busier end.
Those are the good things; the not so good things we found were that the entertainment can be a bit in your face. The pool entertainment is I imagine great for younger families but we generally avoided it. The evening entertainment when it was live music was very loud and went on quite late until after midnight. The bar is also open until 1.30am. We didn’t mind the music so much as we were not going to bed ourselves until around midnight but with the bar being open so late we were often kept awake by rowdy people until at least 2am.
When we first arrived we were given a room with a balcony overlooking the busy road and the shopping centre car park which was awful. We asked to be moved and we were moved 2 days later to a room with a pool view but I would be wary about this if you are booking. I think that the rooms on the road side if they are higher floors and the opposite end to the shopping centre would be ok as should have castle views.
I would go back to this hotel with a group or with my kids again but if it was just myself and husband; I would choose somewhere a little quieter.

This holiday was special for so many reasons:

1. My first holiday in 9 years.
2. The first holiday I ever booked by myself.
3. My first time ever going to Spain.
4. The first time holiday with my sister in law and she’s been in our family for +20 years

What can I say, this resort was amazing, I kept pinching myself I’d made a great choice,
The day arrived it was raining, overcast and a little cold, the next day it was dry overcast and chilly so I went across the road to the shopping centre where I saw a primark, bought 3 jumpers and a pair of jeans only to return some of the items the next day as it was 24 - 26 and Sunny for the rest of the week.
We got a 2 bed apartment with a balcony, Mountain View’s to the left, sea view’s to the right and pool view ahead, it was a real sun trap. The resort is huge with something for everyone, little kids, teenagers, adults and old people.
The apartments were spacious and ours could easily sleep 7ppl, it was clean with decent size rooms, the only reason it wasn’t 55 for me was that there was no freezer in the room so we had to keep buying ice every day and the sofa beds could have done with a steam clean.
The reception area was huge with plenty of place to sit while you wait, there’s a games room with pool tables, video games etc and a laundromat downstairs.
The shopping centre is just across the road with approximately no more than a 2 minute walk, it even had a C & A for those who remember it, tones of places to eat on the roof there’s bars, a restaurant, a kids play area, laser games and our favourite, go-karting which we went to a few time and now my nephew has decided he wants to be a racing car driver.
The bus stop takes 10 seconds to walk from reception as it’s right outside and takes you to the long stretch of beaches and back again, through the old town where the real Spanish go to eat and drink, plus the the more touristy areas.

This place is so clean with orange and lemon trees lining the streets, what a great experience this was, it’s such a shame that it’s already booked up for most 2025 as I would love to stay again, my brother wants to come with us so if possible they’ll be 4 of us 🙏🏾

What is the best side of the hotel to request please? Thinking of noise for the children at night? Thanks

We always stay floor 4 and above pool side. You can hear music from bar downstairs but not rowdy ,usually finishes midnight if not before. Spoke to people on road side say you can hear traffic when patio doors open but dramatically reduces when doors closed. Our children in teens so don't go to bed until after midnight .we love people watching through the day ( over looks pool) and in shade so ideal for us ( sun shines on road side through the day).

Good afternoon, Most of the 2 bedroom apartments face the pool, except for some of them that are situated in the corner so, they have a street view. Regards, Reception
