We have just returned from another short stay at Hotel Consistorial and the standards remain as high as previously experienced. We arrived some hours earlier than our check in time, however Laura arranged for our room to be quickly made available by prioritising the cleaning from a previous guest. A small gesture in itself, but an example of the service & standards the staff at the hotel all maintain. Our room came with a fridge, free safe, bathroom products, robe & slippers, air conditioning & TV ( and English Channels) and excellent bedding. This all at a very competitive rate for a central location , not forgetting a small terrace to enjoy drinks & meals. We will look forward to an end of season return to an exemplary hotel, with very friendly staff.

I love this hotel. Have been three times and have booked for later in the year. They have everything in the room, you don’t need to take any toiletries (you only need to take moisturiser). The beds are very comfy and room spotless. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Beautiful hotel 🥰

Booked 2 rooms that have a connecting door for 2 nights for myself, my mum, brother and sister. We know the area very well and have always wanted to stay here. Rooms were spotlessly clean and very high quality, felt like a real treat to stay here as it seemed quite posh. Everything provided shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste etc tea coffee etc. Beds were really comfy and bathrooms very luxurious with lovely showers. Didn’t get to use the pool or anything because we had plans while we were in town but looked very nice. Staff very friendly and polite. The only criticism was booking breakfast, we were booked to stay for 2 nights, checked in on Saturday and left on Monday morning. We asked if we could have breakfast on the Sunday morning to be told we would have to have breakfast on the Monday morning aswell. We explained that our flight on Monday morning was very early and we would be checking out at 5am, way too early for breakfast for us and they don’t start serving till much later. We were told we could have breakfast on the Sunday morning if we paid for breakfast for both days. Paying for a breakfast for 4 people we weren’t going to eat was madness so we didn’t bother. Have a nice breakfast in a cafe round the corner instead

My husband and I have just returned from a 5 night stay at this lovely hotel. We know Fuengirola very well but this place had, for some reason, never flagged up on our radar. We’re so glad we found it. It is a great location, making it easy for us to walk to all our favourite eateries and bars and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
We booked a Penthouse room, which is on the 4th floor and accessed by a private key in the lift. It was lovely and spacious, with two decent sized balcony areas overlooking the square the hotel is situated on. The bathroom had a lovely big bath-I always appreciate that as I am tall- and a separate shower with Ritual toiletries supplied and replenished each day if required. The room was spotlessly clean and serviced to a high standard each day of our stay, reception staff were friendly and helpful.
My only small criticism would be the drinks menu at the bar….it could do with being a bit more self explanatory as to what is on offer, rather than just the range of cocktail type drinks offered by the company that are supplying them. It needs to be more general so guests know what else is on offer. We didn’t eat at the hotel so I can’t comment on the food offerings but there are SO many fabulous places nearby, which we have visited over many years.
We had a lovely comfortable stay here and would not hesitate to return. Thank you 😊

An attractive hotel in the town centre within easy walking distance of the train station, shops and lots of restaurants. Our room was very clean and comfortable though dull as it was on the first floor overlooking a very narrow side street. However, this meant it was quiet at nighttime, a definite positve for us. Rooms at the front of the hotel overlooking the square would be rather noisy as there are some busy cafes/bars nearby.

Breakfast was served by waiters and the quality of the food was generally good. I would have preferred a buffet where I could choose the items and quantities I wanted.

Staff at reception were efficient and business-like, but by no means friendly.

Overall we had a good stay at this hotel and would recommend it, particularly if you would like to avoid the ugly tower block hotels near the seafront.

Probably the best hotel in Fuengirola, we have stayed in Casa Consistorial several times. The pool area is quite and spacious with a reasonable size pool for the size of the hotel. The rooms are either small or very large, we normally would book a larger room which are extremely spacious and well equipped. My only negative is the service in the bar. We would regularly come back to the hotel for a night cap and end up drinking in the bar next door (which is very good). If the service in the bar / outdoor seating area we would be inclined to have the drink in the hotel but it always is extremely slow and limited selection.

An amazing Hotel, it is clean efficient and quiet. The Hotel staff are fantastic, the food served in the restaurant is fabulous. The rooms are clean and spacious. We have stayed there 5 times, we have tried other hotels in the area but none come up to this standard. Right in the middle of Spanish Fuengirola, a nice class of fellow guests.
Well done Hotel Casa Consistorial.

We stayed here for 2 nights in mid October, we found the staff very friendly and nice and the hotel is in a perfect location. The place is spotless and well maintained. We found the room we had to be very dark and uninviting and the bed was to firm for our liking. One other thing I found strange for a 4 star hotel, they had a toilet roll dispenser in the bathroom similar to what you would find in a public toilet. Would I stay here again, Yes, are there nicer 4 star hotels in Fuengirola, Yes.

Beautiful hotel, really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely go back. Clean, spacious, well equipped, fantastic location and staff were lovely. Fresh towels, beds made & room cleaned daily. This wasn’t our original hotel, a few weeks prior to travel out travel agent had to change. This was a far better hotel than the original booked. Air conditioning in the room with a Juliette balcony. Key cards to enter the room and key card to gain entry into the hotel. Felt very safe, the hotel has a rooftop pool which was lovely not the biggest but our daughter loved it. We didn’t use the restaurant as it didn’t cater for our needs, there are several restaurants and shops around the hotel. It’s in a fantastic location and very central. Will definitely be a returning customer.

Hi Kirsty, We cannot remember about the kettle but there wasn't a fridge. Why don't you just ask the hotel? I cannot paste their e-mail address into this answer for you as tripadvisor block that but there website is easy to find on the internet. We really enjoyed out stay. Regards David
