One of the nicest villages on the edge of the nicest town (Nerja) on the Costa del Sol, south coast of Spain. Built in the 1970's and 80's with great gardens, two swimming pools, and lots of pedestrian walkways, this pueblo-style development offers a great standard of life or a quiet, delightful holiday. Most houses and apartments are owner-occupied, but...

The path to the Apartment we were to spend our holiday in was blocked in both directions by building rubble and barriers. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon of a Holiday weekend so the Management office was closed until the following Tuesday with no Emergency number visible anywhere. Trying to climb over safety barriers, mounds of soil down a very...

Patched up broken furniture on the balcony, 1 chair re-broke when I was sat on it, parasol stuck together with black tape and table was full of filler. Inside wasn't any better uncomfortable little beds with basic bedding on, curtain (bit of cloth really) didn't even reach the bottom of the window. Kitchen basic very little of anything, chipped glass...

I visited nerja for a wedding in june with my boyfriend. Altough i know a few other guests had problems with there villas, we really enjoyed ours. The hills were difficult but the views from the top were fabulous. Our villa was amazing. It was our first trip away together and it really made it out of this world. The...

Capistrano is a large development of the village and San Juan. The apartments are privately owned and rented out through management agents. The décor and condition of the apartments is very much down to how well the owner keeps the apartment. The whole area is fairly well keep, in typical Spanish style ;) we stayed in san Juan the location...

There are many apartments and rental companies in this location. The company I used was GUY P WAY and they were excellent. The service was good and they made sure that the apartment suited our requirements. I had told the rental agent that we had a car so the apartment location was not important and because of this, our apartment...

We love El Capistrano and have visited for the last 6 years with our family. It's definitely 'marmite'! We love it as we have got to know a lovely crowd of people who we see every year and the kids have made great friends. We love staying in and cooking delicious food, often with the people we have met. The...

The best thing about our house was the kitchen - complete with all that one needs to feel at home. The rest of the house was also clean and well presented with style - not a typical boring hotel room but rather a place with character.

My wife and I had a great time in Villa Berraquero. We used it as a base to explore Nerja which is well know to us from previous visits as well as driving to Cordoba and Estapona / Manilva. There are 2 good supermarkets within a few minutes walk (you can see one from the balcony) of the villa. You...

There appears to be two sides to the complex: one.nearer the town and the other towards Burriana. The property we were allocated was in the latter and a fair walk to the other sides, which incidentally we never returned to. The apartment itself was clean, dry well equipped and offered wonderful views of the beach and beautiful properties in the...
