We stayed at tres mares for 8 nights and it did not disappoint. Yes it's by the main road but most if the hotels are. Fantastic and nicely maintained garden setting and lovely pool area which gives the whole place a really chilled out vibe. Having stayed at a number of the surrounding hotels this place is by far the...

My husband and I stayed here for a few days while traveling around Spain. We tend to like staying in basic hotels with good ambience. This place fit the bill perfectly. We had a rental car--it is far outside of town but right across from windsurfing beaches--where all the action anyway! I really have no complaints about this hotel. I...

The hotel is situated about a ten minute drive north of Tarifa and a few minutes walk to the beach. In April the area was very quiet. The beaches were empty except for the kite surfers which were very fun to watch. The rooms were very clean and the bed was the most comfortable we have had in Spain. The...

Hotel itself was lovely... beautiful gardens, nice rooms, value for money as booked through booking.com... HOWEVER... spending the day in the garden with friends, there was no table service, even to the point where we ordered food and were beckoned over by the 'waitress' to collect it ourselves, whilst two members of staff stood behind the bar, talking. Also had...

Hotel was very quiet and relaxed. We loved the garden. Food and drinks in the bar were very nicely priced. We stayed in this hotel before we moved to the Koala appartment in the centre of Tarifa.

I liked the place. Pleasant staff, good character, road is not as noisy as I have read but it was close to the hotel. Rooms were great, if a little dark. Breakfast was ok with a great range of med affair. A little too quiet mid week, weekends seem to get busier and add some life.

Stayed at this hotel as my sister lives locally in tarifa. It is not what I consider to be a luxurious or plush hotel. The facilities are fairly basic but the gardens are very nice and the staff friendly. Many locals use the pool in the afternoon and they are welcome to do so provided that they are purchasing drinks...

This hotel is lovely and after a horrid first night at the Camping Paloma down the road we moved to the Tres Mares and it made our holiday in the end. The staff were very freindly and welcoming and as regular visitors to Tarifa we would definetely stay in this hotel again. The rooms were very spacey and the bathrooms...

The hotel website was quite vague, and although the very helpful receptionist did advise that there was a road between the hotel and the beach, we were very disappointed on arrival to see how busy the road actually was. Arguably a little lack of planning on our part- but I wanted to warn others that this might be annoying if...
