Stayed at Hotell Kristina for two nights attending a conference. The hotel is in the buildings of an old boarding school and therefor has a certain historical feel. The main building has, other than hotel rooms, several conference rooms and also a big dining room with a smashing view of lake Mälaren. Two adjacent buildings, The Theater (Teatern) and The...

This is the most terrible experience regarding hotels and I am well traveled. I would strongly suggest you to find another hotel. The hotel has only twin rooms in the main building but they can also be booked as double room. As traveling for a romantic getaway we had requested and confirmed double room which we pointed out to the...

Mycket prisvärt och bra hotell, bra standard på rummen, fantastiskt god ekologisk mat, trevlig och proffsig personal. Familjevänligt! Rekommenderas! A fantastic place with a nice view, green and calm environment, a cosy restaurant with good and ecofriendly food, nice and very helpful staff. Would sincerely recommend this hotel to both single travellers and families.

Stayed for one night while travelling through the areas to the north of Stockholm. The hotel is located fifty metres up a fairly steep road just off the 570 bus route from Marsta Station. If coming by this bus, get off one stop before the Bus Station at Harberget stop and you will see the hotel from the bus stop....

Ideal location in Sigtuna, even has a little shortcut path into town. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Parts are pretty old fashioned, but renovation is underway (unobtrusively I might add). Would highly recommend.

Sigtuna is a lovely city and the hotel is so quiet That I slept like a baby. Good place to stay outside of Stockholm -...

I stayed two nights at this lovely hotell in Sigtuna, everything was perfect! Superfriendly and professional staff throughout. Plenty of information about Sigtuna and Stockholm, hotel adorned with art. Comfortable bed and nice interior design. Breakfast was excellent, unfortunately no chance to try the restaurant for dinner/lunch, but I will next time. Yes I will absolutely want to stay there...

This is a great hotel, it is simple, clean, with an excellent breakfast being provided. Staff are very helpful and in a superb location just 5 mins walk from Sigtuna. You can even hire bikes from here, however, they are a bit basic. Costs about £75 per night per room.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The family-run Hotel Kristina has the perfect situation, in Sigtuna, just fifteen minutes from Arlanda, between Stockholm and Uppsala! Sigtuna, Sweden's first town, has as strategic a position today as it had a thousand years ago, when the major seaways met here in Lake Malaren. It's easy to get to us from all over Sweden, from Europe, and the world! The view over Lake Malaren is magnificent, and Hotel Kristina is beautifully appointed with lots of warm colour and exclusive furniture. Our unique, functionalist buildings from the Thirties house many memories from their days as the select Sigtuna boarding school and have been refurbished and transformed into a modern meeting place. Hotell Kristina is an "art-eco" hotel with a lot of art and organic food! A warm welcome awaits you from Pernilla and Andreas Olsen and our staff! ... more   less
