We stayed here in April, just for one night and we won't be returning! The room was not clean, the bay window sill had peeling paint, the doorframe and edge of door was dirty, there was mildew along the ceiling edge and much worse in the bathroom where mildew was evident on the ceiling and around the mirror. The radiator...

On checking in unbeknown to us at this point, we had been checked into a twin room therefore on arrival to said room I was less than impressed as we were expecting a classic double....considering I had email confirmation 5 days prior confirming our booking of a classic double!!!when I complained i...

Stayed 2 nights on a wowcher deal. Really excellent value. This included afternoon tea, 3 course dinner on day 1 and breakfast both days. Staff were really nice, very friendly and efficient. We were a little anxious after reading some past reviews but went with an open mind. Corridors and rooms area little tired, and would benefit from a coat...

This is our third visit, never had a problem. We had a groupon deal. Room clean and cosy, shower a bit weak though, you have to mess about with the hot and cold taps to get the right temperature. The food is great and larger portions, I had half a chicken with veg, it was huge, couldn't eat it all....

We were on a groupon deal but even so the room was very comfortable with all required necessities. A good shower, comfortable bed, coffee and tea equipment and a quiet location towards the rear ( room 20). The leisure...

Firstly, I don't usually write reviews however I feel that after staying here last night that some reviews seem a tad unfair. As with previous reviewers before we arrived at the hotel we were very worried, wondering what to expect. Greeted by friendly, helpful lady, definitely not rude. She advised us about the pool, gym etc, breakfast etc. Yes I...

stayed here on a Wowcher deal. They charge £4 a day for WiFi, charge £1 for extra for a towel for the spa. We were charged £3 for a small glass of elder flower presse that was flat. The room was clean, just a small amount of black mould in the shower. The floor of the shower was very slippery...

Our stay here was bought as a gift by one of my friends who doesn't read Tripadvisor. Having read the reviews ourselves we were expecting a dire two days but felt we must give it a try as it was bought as a gift with the very best intentions. Upon arrival we were greeted by an extremely pleasant Polish young...
