Accommodation in Kikby Lonsdale can be hard to find, so we were pleased to be able to book last minute and stay so centrally. The couple who own the place were efficient and helpful. It is inexpensive and they offer a three course meal for nine pounds (but we weren't tempted). Some rooms are en suit some aren't. The breakfast...

Not been up for a couple of years we went up for lunch today and were not disappointed as the three course lunch was just under £8... food was home made and excellent ( as it always has been). Very tight run ship by lovely Pam and Peter.

Don't be put off by the apocalyptic reviews - the accommodation is fair but most importantly clean... if not a little rough around the edges. The hotel itself is located in the centre of town with all of the shops, cafes and pubs just a short walk away. The patrons were welcoming with a genuine interest in ensuring our stay...

And I don't mean to 1610 when it was built! The owners where pleasant, but that's where this adventure ended Having chatted with them they told us they bought the place in 1979. Clearly this was the 1st and last time they ever decorated or give it a good clean! We are certainly not adverse to roughing it, and indeed...

We had a good stay at the Copper Kettle and although it has a lot of bad reviews the place was unique and I'd recommend it to others. It was built between 1610 and 1640 and was fascinating to stay there and admire how it was built and how many stories it could tell. The owners are an older couple...

Ok, where do we start with this - we stayed here in July for a last minute night away, having stayed at other establishments in Kirby Lonsdale in the past. I have to say that our experience with the owners is at odds with other comments here, as we found them welcoming and friendly. Even though the property is dated,...

Wow, me and my partner decided to book a last minute break away, and choose copper kettle and everywhere was fully booked our totally out of our price range, now I know why this place had rooms left, our room was very dated, the carpet looked like it hadn't seen a Hoover for months, our bathroom was on the landing...

Please please please do not stay at this nasty, dated, dirty excuse of a BnB!! Looks quite cheap and cheerful in a nice town but everything about this place made me instantly search for alternative accommodation straight away. The lady owner was very rude, obnoxious and not welcoming at all! On arrival she had already allocated our twin room to...

The Copper Kettle came to the rescue after Whoop Hall let us down so badly. It was of course a very different experience, but amazing value for money. The owners really cared about us having a nice time. We had the family room in the attic which had a great view over Kirkby Lonsdale. Kirkby is a really lovely market...
