This old Coaching In is full of charm. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. The food is excellent of a very high standard and reasonably priced. We will definitely return maybe in the summer months when a little warmer and better weather.

There are buses to Kirby Lonsdale from Lancaster about 5-6 times a day with a journey time of over an hour. You would have to get a cab from Kirby Lonsdale to Barbon, about 2 - 3 miles away. The Barbon Inn is very isolated... More

We asked for room no 1 but got no 5 . There wasn't much difference.
