We stayed here over a weekend in Oct - so it was cold out but the wood burner was great. The place is intentionally off-grid and so if you can live without your hair curlers and a point to charge you ipad then this was great. There were 3 of us in this small wooden yurt which was fine. Bring... More

A long overdue review of this eccentric site. It certainly is a lovely spot in close proximity to the stunning local beaches and great walking opportunities through the countryside and along the river. Depending on your personal interpretation of 'eco' you may be put off by the overhead power lines and Jehova's Witness building close by, but once on site,... More

A fantastic place to stay for a week! We stayed in the Acorn yurt at the bottom of the paddock, which was large enough for the 4 of us. Bring plenty of bedding as it can get cold even in the summer - but there's always the log burner to get things warm. The bath 'shacks' are fantastic for having... More

If you are reading this review, I simply cannot stress enough how fabulous Mill Valley Yurts is. We are a Family of 5 plus 1 dog (Bailey) and spent 11 brilliant days there at the beginning of July 2016. We as a Family love the outdoors and it was great to see our kids (2 boys aged 10 & 8... More

Been coming down to the Yurts for quite a few years now with my family. It's always been a truly amazing place to escape to. It's actually quite astonishing how talented Lisa and Neil are as they put every living minute into their business and deserve so much. My partner and I went down to escape for a few days... More

Neil and Lisa were great hosts; easy to contact and very welcoming. The site is nestled away in the beautiful countryside and is a lovely place to unwind. A candlelit bath with water from the wood burner is a must- totally relaxing. The recommendations for walks and pubs nearby were spot on and we enjoyed a couple of days exploring... More

My husband and I really enjoyed the two nights we spent in their wooden yurt. Great rustic glamping experience. The owners, Neil and Lisa, were friendly and helpful, but gave us a ton of privacy. We had lovely starry skies and fell asleep to the glow of a log burner. Highly recommended.

Lovely peaceful location, not a sound to be heard, except for singing birds and the odd tractor, a home from home without the gadgets (kids playing outside, no tablets and mobile phones). We really enjoyed the fact that you had to stoke the fire to have a hot soak, food and a warm comfortable yurt, with proper beds (not a... More

A nice collection of yurts and huts, in a quiet pretty location. Dog friendly and very green. A lovely place to stay, with a couple of minor niggles that bring it down from 5*. Watch out for the cobwebs, (I suppose it is rural), and they could do with another tap.

The yurts are set out on a lovely site and you really feel secluded, even though villages and towns are relatively close by. Neil and Lucie are very friendly and have done a great job with the yurts. Check the website to see which one would suit you best, as a couple have a covered area outside - essential when... More
