Coming off the Camel Trail from Padstow we were hungry and thirsty. Staff at the Bridge on Wool greeted us warmly and gave our dog biscuits and water. The food was excellent but best of all was the friendliness.

Our first visit to Cornwall and we wanted centrally located lodging - neither of us willing to drive in the UK. Wadebridge is a good location and the Bridge on Wool is both a good pub and place to stay. No lift, but the nice publican and her helper carried our bags up. They were very accommodating, to the point...

Wadebridge is at the end of the bus route that serves Tintagel (the southern end--the northern is Bude) and a large town in this quiet country of Cornwall. The Bridge on wood is a good place to stop for some pub grub. Service is good and the food as well. It's a clean and more modern pub and is a...

Popped in to the Bridge on wool for a very quick drink and bite to eat at the end of a long day. I was pleasantly surprised as it's looks are deceiving.I had vegetarian lasagne which was delicious. Good range of Sharps beers too. Staff very friendly, I haven't been called 'my lovely" for a good few years! Would recommend...

Whilst visiting Wadebridge for the day we asked one of our friends who lives locally to recommend places to eat and she came up with an extensive list of options for us and gave us a rough idea of where to find each individual eatery. Although they were all very pretty looking places that we had been recommended one glance...

It makes a change stopping in a town without any chain restaurants or pubs. The food at the Bridge on the Wool was individual and home cooked, we liked so much we ate there a couple of times. Excellent range of beers and I have never seen so many varieties of Gins in a pub, would have liked to try...

After a three and a half mile walk along the camel trail, we popped in here for sunday lunch. What a great friendly pub this is. It is also dog friendly too. After ordering our drinks the landlady came over with a bowl of water for our thirsty dog Phoebe, a nice gesture. We had the sunday roast and was...

Found this place by chance as we were passing and the food was absolutely amazing, so happy we found it! Waitress was really friendly which was a bonus! However, a fresh coat of paint would make this place 5+*

Bridge on Wool is a great lively and very friendly pub in the middle of Wadebridge. I stayed there recently and the staff could not have been more helpful ! The pub has 3 guest bedrooms, and whilst the rooms are a little basic, the bathroom was spacious and the room was clean, and fantastic value ! Breakfast and evening...
