A heavenly place, with the warmest welcome known to man.

The farmhouse is stunning, set in a gorgeous walled garden. I'm always dreaming about where I'd like to live, and this is my new top-of-the-list choice - I challenge anyone to go and not be bowled over by the charm of the building, its setting and the decor. The room we stayed in was just lovely - luxurious, very clean, large, and we also had access to a sitting room (shared between guests but we were in it alone when we were there). Location is great too - just outside padtow but easily walkable, and with torches provided so you can get around the country roads at night.

All of this though isn't the best thing about the place - which is the incredible welcome we were given. They weren't particular about when we arrived, working around us. When we got there we were given tea and cake! to settle us in. And when we left we were sent on our way with a little card to say thanks for coming and to remind us of our time there. But what really marked it out as just a fantastic B&B is that it was very windy the night we stayed, and while they usually have a wedge in the window to stop it rattling, this had somehow fallen out. I slept fine but my husband was kept awake quite a lot of the night with the noise. We didn't mention it, but Sarah (I think?! sorry the lovely woman who runs the place if I've got your name wrong) realised what must have been happening when she went upstairs after we'd left, phoned us to explain and apologise and sent us a refund to say sorry! Totally beyond the call of duty (though very welcome as my husband did have a disturbed night's sleep) - but also just emblematic of the real commitment they have to their place, and their absolute loveliness. I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Just had a brilliant 2 night stay at Trethillick Farmhouse. The owner is so lovely, welcoming and friendly. She gave great advice when we were booking to make reservations at restaurants and recommended some. On arrival we had tea and gorgeous cake. The room we had was spacious and had a great view. The bathroom was spotless and there were lots of lovely little extras such as a well stocked tea tray, nice toiletries and bottled water. There is a separate room with a comfy sofa, magazines, fridge with fresh milk and fresh ground coffee. Breakfast was amazing and sets you up so well for the day.
They have found the perfect balance between friendliness and giving you space here - a 10/15 minute walk through lovely Cornish countryside to Padstow town - I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area

Stayed here for one night - after seeing the good reviews on TA. The room was spacious enough for me to unpack my rucksack and the facilities in the shower room was well equiped.

We were immediately made to feel welcome by Sarah and she gave us some great tips about where to book and eat in Padstow.

We walked down into Padstow in the evening (about a 20 minute walk) which was pleasant as the weather was good, but it would have been a bit different had it been raining.

The breakfast was first class and all locally sourced, tempting us to stock up in the farm shop (opposite the front door) before we left.

After breakfast we did a six mile walk from the house around the peninsula, which I would also recommend if you get the chance.

As soon as you arrive you receive a warm welcome from Sarah. It's a lovely house, in a nice secluded area. Our room was delightful, beatifully decorated and comfortable with an excellent en-suite shower. Breakfasts were splendid too.  When booking I'd happened to mention that it was my wife's birthday whilst we were there. We found a hand-made card and a small present waiting for her in the room. It's little touches like this that make it such a lovely place to stay. Highly recommended.

A lovely place to stay - gorgeous rooms and most of all great hospitality - the walk is amazing my husband was playing in a golf competition at Trevose only 10 min drive and we took his parents with us so was a bit apprehensive about the walk into padstow - not a problem 10 mins there and 15 mins back (they loved it) works off sarahs big breakfast. If you wanted to drive then you could take a 2 min drive to the outskirts of the village down a country lane (free parking) and then only a 2 minute walk into padstow harbour so either is fine. If you stay here you will not be disappointed
