I stayed here one night with my husband and it was perfectly adequate. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfy though it squeaked very loud each time we moved! Tea and coffee making facilities were nice. The breakfast was as expected, a nice cooked breakfast served by a very friendly lady. I have no reason to... More

A warm welcome from an easy going, caring staff. Great selection of real beer, Fine, well presented food, and a very comfortable room. Nothing was too much trouble for any member of the staff. Most helpful. We only stayed the one night, and encountered a superb breakfast.

We have just come back from staying at The Manor Inn, Galmpton, we had such a lovely time the staff are so friendly and helpful, the breakfast is great with plenty of choice and cooked by a lovely and friendly lady. The rest of the food lunchtime and evening is brilliant, they have a standard menu for the evening but... More

This is what you would call ' a local pub for local people' Avoid avoid if you are in any way a tourist!!! Plenty of other friendly welcoming places around the area so let them continue with their unwelcome ways! My husband stood at the bar for over 15 mins waiting to be served totally ignored by staff however they... More

Signposted from the main road on a 'brown sign' we popped in for a quick drink en route back to our cottage. Decent selection of drinks and plenty of space inside and out to sit - there's currently a covered outside marquee area and - up some stairs - a rooftop beer garden complete with putting green synthetic grass! Great... More

Great comfortable room nicely furnished. No air con but was not needed. Nice shower. Great TV. Great breakfast and meals in the Pub were excellent. All Staff were friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed my stay at the Manor Inn. Very quiet in rooms considering noise in pub of trivia night.

My husband booked a table at this establishment as we were staying with friends nearby although to be fair they did tell us not to go as they had been the week before and the food was not good. We should have known it was not going to be good when my husband ordered a mixed fish platter which came... More

We found the pub generally good but the room was very cold. We twice asked for the heating to be switched on but they never did. We have however found this to be the case in many hotels/pubs in Cornwall and Devon where the heating is switched off even in the winter, so now we take our own fan heater.... More

Had to wait long time to be served at bar and shown to our table. Ordered meal however took an hour to deliver to table. Service staff not very friendly. People served before us even though arrived at least 20 after us. Looks as if cannot cope with busy evenings. Another table complained that meal was served to members of... More
