Having stayed at Combe two years ago. No problems! We found this time the Pig an exciting place to stay. We found the whole experience exciting. All the staff we met were so nice. Our room No 1 was perfect. Everything to a very high standard. Dinner was great. The restaurant was full, but the service and the food was...

Very very good food, great choice and friendly, fast service. The location is stunning and so is the atmosphere. I can only recommend you to go there. The rooms downstairs are kept with their historic charms and you can stroll the grounds.

WOW WOW WOW!!!! What a fabulous place. Driving up to this glorious mansion you know you are in for a big treat As we had our dog with us we could only eat in the Folly but we (and our dog) were made most welcome. Dog treats came out before our order was taken Lovely glass of English bubbly with...

Poor service, waited for ages for order to be taken. Requested Sommeliers advice for wine and wasn't even asked what we were eating. Starter (roasted cauliflower) under cooked and no sign of beetroot dressing. Duck main course very over cooked and dry. Dessert was nice. Not good value overall. I've had much better meals at other restaurants like Cote. Lovely...

We had visited spectacularly situated Combe house hotel a couple of years ago and didn't think much of the tired old place but realising it was now a 'Pig' we decided to give it a try. The hotel has been done up beautifully. We stayed in a comfy lux room in stable block which was really clean and newly furnished/decorated...

Visited the Pig for lunch this week. It was an awful day, blowing a gale and pouring with rain, so the warm greeting as we arrived was particularly welcome. The whole atmosphere is calm and relaxed, with a selection of comfortable lounges to use while you make your decisions from a nicely varied menu. We thoroughly enjoyed both food and...

Different to other Pigs we have visited in that it is overall "bigger"; bar, lounges, rooms....everything that bit more spacious. The food is up to the usual standard that Pig restaurants are renown for - though I think the Pig on the Beach took the honours when we stayed in December, it really was sublime. At The Pig at Combe...

I love a weekend away to a country hotel and this place didn't disappoint. Incredible welcome with great staff who made you feel like you part of the family. Roaring log fires, stately but cozy decor, great food and wine - i was in heaven. We went to the Folly for lunch as we were too early to check in....

I have been to all of The Pig hotels/restaurants and I think this is possibly my favourite. It doesn't have the sea views like the Pig on the Beach, but it has views of the countryside, the restaurant is just lovely. It is tucked away down a very carry windy road (they could do with more signs to let you...

What an impressive experience, Very nicely appointed , was extremely busy when we visited on a Monday lunch time , The Bar was buzzing and full of nice people, Quite pricy for lunch ! Thought the road in / out was a let down ! But lots of people made the trip
