Lovely stay at The Heathfield Inn on a Sunday evening. The Family room was spacious, clean and tidy. The owner had clearly paid attention to our conversation on the phone during booking as there was three sets of towels in the bathroom and three cups by the kettle. Large sofa area in our family room was a nice area to... More

We stayed for 2 nights. The room was huge and comfortable though a little dated and in need of spruce up. The meals are excellent value and plentiful in size and variety. The welcome was warm We enjoyed our stay

We received a warm welcome when we arrived. Our room was very spacious with complimentary tea/coffee. The bed was huge and so comfortable. En suite bathroom was very clean with bath and overhead shower. The staff were really lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was reasonably priced with a good selection of food for all tastes. The... More

We fancied a spur of the moment meal out. We couldn't get in at the Hare n Hounds so, driving through Honiton and thought we'd try the Heathfield Inn. Very glad we did. It's a lovely thatched building in the middle of a housing estate, so not exactly a passing trade route, and for this reason (probably) it was very... More

What a lovely place! Very quaint and full of character. Fab staff and beautiful dog! Lovely food and service. Would definitely recommend! Shame they've built a housing estate around it though! Thank you Carlos and co!!

Don't be put off by the slightly dark appearance of the outside as it is extremely nice inside. There is plenty of car parking, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was large and the bathroom was very modern, everywhere was spotlessly clean as well. We had dinner and breakfast there, good food and service as well as lots... More

We enjoyed our meal, fish and chips. The service from Michael was outstanding. He was very helpful and looked after us well. Even bringing our meals out into the lovely garden. The pub is very local to Honiton town centre and has ample parking. Will come again as Mum lives round the corner.

I only attended a family function that was being held here in July 2016. I was too late to book a room as they had all gone, so unfortunately had to stay somewhere else. The owners were friendly and their dog was gorgeous. Friendly atmosphere. Good night was had.
