Stayed here over night while up for a family christening. Apart from being in a delightful location on the edge of Dartmoor the overwhelming impression you are left with is somewhere so relaxing, immaculately clean and tidy with bedrooms which are decorated and appointed to a very high standard. The hosts are charming and very helpful including recording Strictly Come...

Thank you Guy B for your review. It was a pleasure to host your group when staying with us for the christening. We're always happy to record programmes for people to watch later as long as it doesn't disturb our other guests, and as your group rented the whole house it was no problem! It's a shame you didn't like...

Such a great place to stay. Welcomed with a nice cup of tea and fresh scones. The rooms were beautifully decorated and clean. We were staying in the family room with a separate bathroom - the bathroom was for ourselves, bath robes were provided, so really perfect. Thank you!

Thank you so much for your review. Happy to hear you liked the complimentary cream tea on arrival, and the luxury bathroom with bathrobes that belongs to our king size suite (with extra single bedroom). That room (room 5) is our favourite - probably because of the beautiful chaise longue in the bay window! Best regards, Angela and Steve.

The room has all the facilities you could wish for. The King size bed is very comfortable. For breakfast their is a choice of three healthy juices, five...

We had a lovely night at Barnabas house, Steve and Angela made a really big effort to look after us and were very accommodating, especially as we arrived very early and had to dash off for a wedding, they were able to sort us out with somewhere to get ready even though we were there hours before check-in. The breakfast...

Thank you Jessica G for your lovely review. We were happy that we were able to help you get ready for the wedding by getting your room ready extra early. If we know in advance, we can usually do this. The French Toast certainly seems to have been a hit this year, I know it's one of my favourite's! Hope...

Delightful hosts and excellent breakfast, all this and they are new to this business. I expect that they will go from strength to strength and will definitely...

This is a great 4 star (should be 5) b&b that is located is a quant little village with plenty of things to see, visit and do. Dartmoor is on the doorstep with fantastic views. If it's shopping you're after Tavistock is near and so is Plymouth. If you just want to stay in the village, they have a lovely...

After a long day travelling i was welcomed to Barnabas house with tea and homemade cake in the homely lounge. My room, on the top floor, had views across the countryside. This older house had character, yet is furnished comfortably with modern bathrooms. My room had excellent tea/coffee making facilities with fresh milk in the silent running fridge. For breakfast...
