After a long day travelling i was welcomed to Barnabas house with tea and homemade cake in the homely lounge. My room, on the top floor, had views across the countryside. This older house had character, yet is furnished comfortably with modern bathrooms. My room had excellent tea/coffee making facilities with fresh milk in the silent running fridge. For breakfast...

Thank you very much for your review. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay. As you say, if stairs are a problem it's best to call us first to check your room choice. We have one ground floor room, two rooms on 1st floor and three on the 2nd. Of course if you are happy with stairs, the...

Excellent room and facilities including parking. Very good breakfast. Very helpful and informative owners. Good location with Tavistock and Dartmoor a short drive, also Plymouth by bus if preferred. Local amenities, shops including Doctors' practice within five minute walk. Short drive to two golf courses, ornamental gardens, country pubs and restaurants and Buckland Abbey.

Thoroughly enjoyed warm hospitality, great vegetarian breakfast, comfortable and spacious room, great views, fast internet and ease of access to Yelverton and moors. Great base to walk to local bar (or even better to go further afield to - Whitchurch Inn and Royal Oak). Clean and fresh and most definitely comfortable.
