Having travelled fro Weymouth to Lyme regis and in need of some food and drink, we called into the Cobb arms. The staff were very pleasant & friendly, and my fish and chips were as good as I have tasted.

The Cobb Arms is not only a great Pub but it also has great food and super B&B rooms. Located right next to the beach this is the ideal location for exploring Lyme Regis or for visiting friends as we have this weekend. If you ever visit the Cobb Arms for food or to stay then try the steaks. They...

Stayed here for a weekend in February, well where do I start, the staff I will start with as this is important as they were all fairly young but my word they were all brilliant at there jobs, helpful, chatty and really all worked very hard, this includes everyone from the bar staff, kitchen staff, cleaner etc. The owners and...

Plerhaps I was just unlucky with what I chose. The interior of this place is pleasantly done out, not old-fashioned but also not cutting edge, but comfortable and likely to attract more people than the more edgy places perhaps. The staff were lovely and friendly and food ordered was served pretty quickly. I chose the Fish Finger sandwiches. I have...

We were exhausted from a long but enjoyable coastal walk and came across the Cobb Arms. The menu was excellent and there was a good specials board. I had the Scallops starter and Lamb shank main course with no room for a pudding! Both were amazing ~ Thank you

Four of us just turned up shortly after 7pm on. Saturday, luckily we got a table, by about 7:30, the place was full. My 3 companions all enjoyed a fish dish, and why not, we were so close to the sea. I had one of the best Sirloin steaks I can remember, I didn't want it to end, it was...

My daughter and granddaughter's took me to Lyme Regis for lunch. I have been to the cobb arms before and thought it suitable for families which it is. The food was very poor. My lunch wasn't even written down and ordered even though I could clearly hear what my daughter was ordering. It wasn't busy yet they were very slow...

Visited Thursday (parents have caravan in Lyme so down a lot either to stay or check on it out of season) so eat here a lot. Dad had the main fish & chips, whereas Mum & son had kids fish & chips (mum having small appetite) as it is the law that you have to have fish & chips when...
