We were asked to pay for the room up front and for both nights before even seeing the room. The decor is a bit tired and in need of an update. We stayed in the studio room which is an attic conversion. The stairs up to it were full of cobwebs and there were cobwebs all around the windows inside....

The young couple who own this B & B are friendly, the listed and thatched building is lovely, the rooms and beds are comfotable and the breakfast is good - just be aware it is a long climb up hill from the sea!

We got off to a bad start as we were asked to pay almost before we had checked in, never had to do that before. We were then told to go and have a look at our room by ourselves, we were disappointed to find we were in a tiny attic room on the 2nd floor, the 2nd flight of...

Firstly, we walked into the hotel and was greeted by a very polite, well spoken gentleman. First impressions were great. We then went searching for our room "on the top floor". On approach to the room after 2 flights of stair, we realised we were in a converted attic. The door to the room had its corner cut off because...

From the moment we arrived in the car park, someone came out to meet us and sorted out a space more suited to our vehicle. Then at reception Alice asked us how our journey had been, and as we had just spent the last two hours plus with the AA due to car problems our answer reflected this. Alice immediately...

Very warm welcome to this delightful family home. We had room 14 under the eves, very clean and cosy, comfortable, well decorated throughout. Breakfast was cooked and served to a very high standard, hot from the first mouthful to the last, with plenty of choice's, and nothing was to much trouble. All members of staff where exceptionally helpful, kind and...

On our arrival we were warmly welcomed, our room was very clean and comfortable, this is a friendly family run hotel that does a wonderful breakfast, we have been back twice and will go back next year, also walking distance to great shops and beach so welcome break from driving.

A rather tired and shabby hotel, with some grubby carpets, but it could be very good with a bit of attention to basics. It has an ideal position with private parking for residents. It was disappointing that there were no biscuits on our bedroom tea tray when we arrived after a long journey. Also no milk – apparently they had...

It is interesting to note that the Kersbrook is currently being run by a young, very professional couple who have taken over the running of the business from their parents and have been running it themselves for approximately six months. They appear to be running it extremely successfully and pleasing their guests. There are 14 rooms in this rambling old...

A very charming place. If Lyme Regis suits you then the Kersbrook will too. It's family run, with great parking which is always a challenge in Lyme when you want to be close to the town centre and beaches (5 mins stroll downhill). Nice people to deal with when booking, a friendly welcome on arrival - and as others have...
