Stayed for just 1 night, the owner couldn't of been any more accommodating, so friendly offered help with anything and gave us the top room. Had TV, tea and coffee facilities with loads of biscuits. Had a lovely full fry up in the morning, there was plenty of options. I would highly recommend this B&B if needing a quick stop... More

A very convenient location for the ferry made us choose this B&B. We found the welcome friendly, the accommodation clean and in good condition, if perhaps lacking 'luxury' and one member thought the mattresses were too firm for a good night's sleep. Breakfast options were good and the timings offered allowed us to catch an early ferry whilst still having... More

This hotel is conveniently located near the Stena terminal Harwich. We had car problems the morning we were to board the ferry and Don moved heaven and earth the get us a mechanic and road service at 7.30 in the morning. The problem was a complicated one but we had no trouble staying another night and Don helped us with... More

We stayed here one night because it is walking distance to the International Port of Harwich & most of the Trip Advisor reviews were satisfactory. I am sorry to say I cannot give it a good review since my biggest concern in any hotel or B&B is cleanliness and this one was not clean enough for me. To be fair,... More

I chose this B&B as it was close to the ferry terminal and the (International) train station plus it accepted pets (I had my dog in tow). Old house but my room provided all the usual requirements - comfortable, TV, coffee/tea-making facilities, en-suite. PRO: Location, pet-friendly, reasonably-priced, good breakfast, and friendly owner/staff. CON: Cash payment only, narrow staircase (I had... More

We stayed here one night before our cruise. It was an easy walk from the train. The cottage is old, and could use a good scrub down. But nevertheless we really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately we were on the 3rd floor. Lots of noise from the street below all night. The room was quite adequate, the bath super clean, but... More

This little Bed & Breakfast Hotel is very close to the Harwich Ferry about 2 minutes by car or 7 minutes by walk. You can park your car on the street or next to the building. It's a very old but cosy house with a very nice staff. You can find very small and average sized rooms. The full English... More

I stayed here whilst visiting friends and found the place handy and extremely comfortable. My room was clean and comfortable and the owner was really friendly. The breakfast, full English, was one of the best I have had. Reasonably priced too, I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here on the way to and from Holland and everything was just perfect. Don, the owner was extremely friendly and helpful. We were made to feel at home. We stayed in the ensuite family room with double bed and bunks. This was very comfortable even for our 2 tall sons. Breakfast was delicious and very generous. Our sons... More
