We went to the Tower a couple of weeks ago with family for Sunday lunch. We had a lovely meal andthe staff were very nice. We were upset to learn though that the Manager Paul was leaving. This is a shame as he was a very nice man, very helpful, accommodating & always chirpy.

went here with a few work mates and although it's been going down hill a while I definitely won't be going back. We only had a prawn baguette and a coronation baguette you wouldn't think you could go wrong with something so simple but it was awful. Baguettes hadn't been warmed through at all and were stone cold as if...

We had our wedding at this venue and hope to give a true and fair review, new management please take note. Postive and constructive thoughts are, the bride who arrived the day before the wedding was greeted and looked after by Paul a very delightful and competent manager. The Patrick suite was used as the bride made ready for the...

just off the main road into Harwich the hotel had ample parking. The interior has been lovingly preserved with virtually untouched extravagant plaster work. A wide curving staircase takes you up to the half dozen marvellously spacious and handsomely decorated en-suite bedrooms. Our room over-looked the fountain & courtyard & gardens. We were over-whelmed by the luxurious heavily lined damask...

We arranged to have a surprise 60th party here in The River Room. Everything from the initial meeting arranging everything to the day ran smoothly. We were able to choose what items we wanted on the buffet with no question. The food when it arrived was above ours and everyone expectations, there was so much of it!! The staff were...

A very friendly welcome, staff all nice, even obliged with taken a photo on their fabulous staircase at midnight after a night out. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Would not hesitate to use the hotel again. Must be an amazing wedding venue, so grand on entering a defiant WOW factor. The dinning room looked fab, although we did...

Haven't been here for years and it was my other half's first visit, wasn't disappointed! We popped in for a sandwich and a drink and were made to feel very welcome by the friendly and smart staff. We both had a prawn sandwich which came beautifully presented and with perfect fresh bread well filled with prawns. Will certainly be back!

What a difference from the last time that we ate in this restuarant! I gave a glowing review and described it as the best in the area, after the meal that we had this week it now ranks as the worst. We had the Moroccan lamb stew with roast sumac potatoes at £12.25. The lamb stew was a small dollop...
