We went with our family for Christmas day lunch. There were a few nice touches such as home made biscuits individually wrapped for each person. The restaurant was nicely decorated and the food generally hot and tasty. The waiting staff did seem under pressure at times and even though I had ordered a gluten free meal in advance I was...

Thank you for your review, I am sorry that your meal was brought out wrong, here at the Angel most of our menus can be adapted to cater for Gluten free (most dietary requirements can be catered for) Our feed back has been very positive so I am sorry you felt we lacked atmosphere, I am glade that the food...

Stayed overnight for a work trip. The hotel is lovely and the bed was very comfortable. There were a lot of stairs and I did struggle to carry my case all the way to my room. The room was very spacious and clean. I would stay here again. Little touches like little bags of sweets in with the tea and...

Thank you for your review, It is always nice for the staff to see positive comments. I am disappointed that they didn't carry/offer to carry your bag for you. We like to offer little extras so you remember us. I hope to be able to welcome you back soon.

Our son booked us in the "Angel" for two nights, Xmas Eve and Day night. We had dined several times before at this hotel and loved the food. We checked in on Xmas eve afternoon and were directed to our room which seemed miles away, mainly because we are both disabled we had room 11 but were pleasantly surprised when...

I came here for a work trip and stayed a number of days. The staff here were always very accommodating and warm. The rooms were also very cosy and I loved the layout of the room I was given. It's Manager, Darren was very helpful not only with matters relating to the hotel, but also gave us a lot of...

Stayed two midweek nights for business and although the hotel needed some decorating, the staff, the food and the beer were particularly impressive. First night I was in an annexed room which was part of the converted stables. It was large, warm and pleasant, but vehicles drive past the front door to the car park, and that disturbed sleep from...

We stayed here after a wedding, checked in late in the evening which was handy as reception was still open. The room was a large size but the bed was so uncomfortable. We both had a terrible nights sleep. We were right at the back of the hotel, had to walk a very long way & said to my husband...

I'm sorry you didn't have a good stay with us. With regards to the bed, most of the Hotel have recently had new Mattresses/Beds, if this was not the case with your room I am sorry and can reassure you that they are all being changed. I can assure you that their are fire exits on every floor and I...

Stayed here for a couple of nights whilst working nearby and I must say it was a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The floors are uneven and creaky but it's just part of the hotels character. The location is ideal, situated in the centre of Market harborough with parking right outside the hotel. Breakfast was one of the best I've...

Wasn't sure where to go, but the building looked inviting, clean & tidy. Bar busy, staff courteous, menu available. Ordered two lots of Cheesy Chips to go with a pint or three whilst the TV screen quietly in the corner showed the England-Scotland game. Visit the loos and on your way out you pull the door, a hand sanitiser 'squirts'...

We stayed at the Angel Hotel in 2015 and really enjoyed it - lovely clean pretty rooms and delicious full English breakfasts. I would definitely stay there again. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was situated in the middle of town with easy access to all tourist sites, easy walking distance of all major shops, and had a parking...
