Add to that the generous and friendly welcome from owners Sarah and Chris and it makes for a wonderful stay in a beautiful and interesting village. Walked through the door and was greeted by our hosts. Shown to a fabulous dog-friendly bedroom - not penalized which was completely refreshing (dog-owning people you will understand what I mean). Has a fabulous sitting room too, host provided dog-walking routes and a map. The room was stunning (Bedroom 3) and the bed so comfortable. Our host spotted our Prosecco...

The perfect place for a two night stay for big wedding celebrations. Chris and Sarah were so helpful especially as we had forgotten one suitcase so were a bit short of equipment which they did their best to supply - including chargers for every kind of phone/computer! Delicious breakfast and the best BLT ever eaten as a 'snack' lunch before...

Middleham has a local village store and local public houses serving food. The main house has 5 bedrooms, a guest Drawing Room and dining room. There is a walled garden for the use of guests – sit under the apple tree sipping a glass of wine and sharing one of Chris’s special summer BBQs. Drying, Ironing & Laundry facilities available. Well behaved dogs are welcome at the Priory in certain rooms by arrangement at point of booking for a small additional charge. Street parking available, there are no yellow lines in Middleham! The whole of the Priory is also available for house parties – price on application depending on requirements.
