Stayed at this hotel as a break when traveling round, good choice, spotless room( TV old fashioned but worked) and grand breakfast, staff pleasant and helpful. Would stay there again! Great Location and would stay there again!

We seen a deal through groupon for a overnight stay including breakfast for £45 in this quaint little village and was looking forward to it! We arrived slightly earlier than planned, but thought we would chance asking for an early check in. Unfortunately on entering the hotel reception the overpowering smelt of extreme damp hampered us actually checking in! Being...

Fiona L, sorry to see you decided not to stay with us due to the smell of damp the hotel had only just re opened after a winter closedown and yes the building can get cold but after 3 weeks of opening the hotel is now warm through out and if your back in the area i hope you will...

I have never had the pleasure of sleeping with rodents in a hotel room until I visited Gairloch Hotel.. mouse droppings found in the morning! It is a very dated building which is as I expected but the food was terrible. I don't believe that the raw ingredients could have cost more than £5 a head for all 3 courses....

Bought a voucher for two nights b&b with dinner on the first night and a free bottle of wine. Struggled to get a weekend date within the voucher period and ended up compromising and accepting a twin room to get a weekend that both my partner and i could manage. Arrived and very warmly and professionally greeted by reception staff...

We had great expectations from the outside, right on the beach it's a beautiful old building! For being in the middle of nowhere with not much to do we were hoping the hotel would be a lovely stay. Had an itison deal-often fab hotels! However this one despite having very friendly and helpful staff and a spacious reception area is...

We stayed 1 night despite reading the last few reviews and I have to say they don't reflect our experience. The room was clean and tidy, the bed comfortable and even though there was a bus tour in it was very quiet on the second floor. We paid £79 for 2 of us with dinner, bed and breakfast with a...

Imposing looking hotel isn't matched by the interior. The reception is spacious and the public rooms are attractive and comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms however, are tired and in need of updating. It's clean, the staff were friendly and the food ok. Major problem through is the lack of wi-fi anywhere accept in reception... and much less acceptable;1980s TVs with...

We had an itison deal for 3 nights here- paid a bit more than we usually would, expecting something good. We are budget travellers, not fussy eaters and have a positive approach to travel but we were very disappointed here. Positives - one very nice receptionist and staff in restaurant - great location - lovely quiet lounge with view over...

I had the misfortune to stay at the Gairloch hotel. Externally it is Majestic and guards the road into Gairloch. Internally it recreates the worst of the 60s. The front door was shut and the grim receptionist tersely gave me my key pointing me to the lift. Lift engineers visit this perfect example from 70s. Yes it all works just...
