We went to Gairloch without reserving any room, planned to look for one when we arrive. Almost all fully booked, only a few still have vacant room, one of them is Wayside. Both Shirley and Ian are very welcoming. Our room was small, but quite nice and clean, with en-suite, TV, wifi available. Books available ranging from fictions to kids...

Okay she isn't my aunt, but being welcomed into the Wayside is like visiting your own cozy auntie. Everything about the place is warm & inviting. Beds are wonderfully comfy. Breakfast is personalized, as you order it the evening before. Shirley & Iain make sure that you have everything that you could possibly want, & then leave you for a...

We were so lucky to find this charming loch side B&B at the end of a long day travelling with our 15 year old son. Our rooms were cosy and comfortable with views over the loch and Shirley and Ian were so welcoming. They even sponsored our son, who had just cycled from Land's End to John O'Groats. Breakfast was...

We found a sweet little terraced guest house on the sea front with a bedroom that had lovely views across Loch Gairloch - a sea bay. The two front rooms share a bathroom and if both are occupied the tariff is reduced by £10. despite the shared facilities which are the best room, the other which is on suite hasn't...

I stayed in this bed and breakfast with my 7 years old this year in July (2015), and we had a great time in this bed and breakfast. The hosts are very kind, really looked after out comfort for a good night rest after a long drive. The breakfast was yummy, and the lady chatted with my son whilst he...

Just back from a weekend in the Scottish Highlands and spent 2 nights (28th and 29th august) at Wayside B and B which was absolutely lovely ! So homely and welcoming.. The breakfasts were beautifully cooked and presented, and the room was cosy and comfy with a lovely little en suite toilet/shower room. The family who own and run this...

Stayed here on the 26th of July 2014. We had the twin room, which was lovely and a shared bathroom with one other room, but no one was there. Lovely touches all across the house. Everything was really clean. The owner is friendly and her son gave us a lovely wee drawing as we left which was a lovely touch....

We found this B&B with one vacant double room close to 10pm - our last option. Very friendly owners and we got room 4, which has a view away from the water towards the garden. The room was cosy and the bed was in the more solid end - which we prefer and so far haven't found on our journey....

I think I don't have to say more after all those positive reviews. It's all true. The owners are so warm and friendly, the bed was very comfy, the view stunning and the breakfast delicious. I really recommend this B&B to everyone.
