It cost us £155 per night B + B in Sept when we were on the NC500. There are stunning views around and we were treated to perfect sunsets. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spotless. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and the dinner menu is a good one. The service was excellent and all the staff were very helpful and found time to chat with us.

The food was was pretty good and reasonably priced. Amazing view over the bay. Lots of gluten free options available too. Plenty of specials on offer on top of the menu. The peanut butter chew cake was excellent. Will go back if you in the area again.

Terrible slow service and we had to ask where our food was after half an hour wait. Other couple’s were also asking where there drinks were and that no one had come to there table. Been in a Scotland 2 weeks and this is one to miss. Worst meal ever.

An excellent hotel in a beautiful location. Our room (8) has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. The sun lounge at the front of the hotel and the dining room are both beautifully furnished and decorated. The food was extremely good, well presented, hugh portions (sadly we never made it through to a dessert)! The staff were so friendly and helpful, it made our stay there very special!

This hotel must have one of the best views in Scotland! Watching the sunset over Skye as we ate dinner was fabulous and our overnight accommodation in the annex gave us so much space we didn't know what to do with it all. The room had a comfy bed, seats in the bay window overlooking the sea, a patio outside the lounge/kitchen area and a perfect little shower room with powerful shower. The staff were most helpful and attentive and our breakfast really set us up for the day - my husband had what looked like a whole side of smoked salmon with his scrambled eggs! All in all the Myrtle is a great little place. A little bit tired in places maybe but otherwise spot on.
