Stopped at the cafe for breakfast on a bike ride. Really nice friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Only problem is that we waited 50 mins for it to be served, so it was actually brunch when it arrived.

There is no good. Only great with a few niggles.. Great: Location. Cleanliness of site Showers and loos fantastic Well drained 16 amp Well stocked shop Helpful staff Cheap rates What's not to like? Just a clue of niggles: No Wi-Fi on site*. Given that we had no phone signal connectivity is important and also planning onward trips. The highland...

We try and come here whenever we have a free weekend and are never disappointed. The site is clean, tidy and while it can be busy, it never feels that way. It has a very chilled feel. The site staff are very helpful and friendly and the shop has everything that you could ever need. The Barn Resturant is very...

We couldn't rate the campsite highly enough! We arrived around 7pm and the campsite operates as a free layout so can choose where you want to pitch. We chose a large area close to the park for the kids, the amenities block and the beach. 2 tents, 2 cars, 4 adults, 3 toddlers and a baby = perfect location!! The...

We have a campervan and stayed here 4 nights with hookup. This is a relaxed caravan, motorhome and campsite which attracts returning customers to such an extent that I met one guy who had been visiting for 40 years! We lost our daughter for 4 days as she made and disappeared with new friends thanks to a great playground. Midge...

Great wee site, a few miles out of Gairloch but in the dunes, 3 minute walk to the beach, small football field, aerial runway, small park but lots of open space. Sites well spaced out and a mix of tourers, tents, statics and wigwams. Very friendly in reception and good restaurant on site serving basic pub grub (pizza was not...

We stayed in the sands caravan and camping house as a treat for my birthday. The house is amazing. So much space, really well equipped and a lovely garden. There are boxes of toys for the kids, lots of books, a high chair and travel cot, a swing and sandpit in the garden and outdoor toys for the kids in...

The site covers a large area with 3 amenities blocks. Set in the dunes behind a lovely sandy beach, if it is windy you can camp low down in the dunes or calm go higher up for sea views. Lots of smallish grassy areas provide more intimate places to pitch rather than one great expanse of grass. Pitches for tents...

Since 2012 when we found this place quite by accident, we've been coming back every year at Easter and sometimes during summer too. We've stayed in wigwams, tents and even a static caravan one year when our tent was destroyed by high winds 😂 The facilities are exceptional, the tranquility unsurpassable and the scenery unmissable. We walk, run, cycle all...
