Nice camping site for a holiday. The campingsite is within a very nice camping area. Posibility for Caravans with very high standard. Nice place for camping in the nature. Nice walking paths in the area. Also you can go by car to other destinations in the area.

Really good value for money for pitching tents. A great spot with a few beaches. Perfect for those with pooches. Really friendly staff. We stayed here one night but the facilities are some of the best I've seen. Would happily spend more nights if I had the time.

We booked one night at Sands, but wish we could have stayed longer. We were on a motorcycle trip up the West of Scotland and chose to stay at Sands after finding it online and reading the reviews. A colleague of mine then told me we wouldn't be disappointed and he couldn't have said a truer word! From the initial...

Brilliant beachside location, lovely sunsets, evening fires on the beach, beautiful area. Facilities are great, campers room a good touch. Pitch where you like which makes for a relaxed unregimented site. Midgies can be a bit of a pest at certain times but known a lot worse in Scotland. We will return, highly recommended

size of site ensures finding a touring pitch suited to your needs - good mixture of camper vans, tents, wigwams etc. with mixture of isolated and more sociable pitches Very good, clean toilet and shower facilities shop caters for most needs and café handy in case of inclement weather (a bit on the pricey side though) staff friendly and helpful...

We visited whilst driving the NC500 route. This site is huge, the site encompasses a stretch of sand dunes next to Gairloch bay. There is a shop on site which is very well stocked, a fantastic little cafe where hot meals, pizzas, cakes and hot drinks are served. We had a cappuccino and a cake each which were very good....

A friendly, flexible, family run site with reliable ameneties and all the services you need to make getting away from it all nice and simple. The hot water is round the clock, the shop is thoughtfully stocked, the Barn Cafe serves excellent food and there is no overcrowding - this is a huge open space. I hired a wigwam (I...

Spent ten days at the campsite this summer in very mixed weather. The site is huge and roughly divided into two sections, caravans in the more open area and tents in amongst the sand dunes. It's a bit of a free for all when it comes to pitching although the campsite does stress that you should be 7 metres away...

Stunning campsite amongst the sand dunes, plenty of space even in August and the showers and toilet block was brand new with excellent facilities. Had hairdryer, straightning irons hot air hand dryers and spacous cubicals, even small bath for the disabled camper. Under cover room to cook, eat or just relax with a glass of wine. Well recommended and will...

Big open aspect, with superb access to the beach. Would make a fabulous place for a family or for us a fairly relaxed beach break from our travels up the NW coast of Scotland. The shop and cafe where great as were all other facilities. Gairloch is superb as a destination or stopping point, but the campsite is 2.5 miles...
