This was my second visit to Barn Cottages and it was as fabulous as the first! Jane remembered me and made me feel so welcome. The cottage was spotless, cosy and quiet. You feel as if you are in the middle of the countryside, yet Chippenham where I was working was only 3 miles away. Whether for business or leisure... More

We spent a wonderful 4 days here on our holiday in UK. After the hustle and bustle of London it was wonderful to experience the peace and tranquility of Chestnut Cottage with hosts Jane and Derek. Located in a wonderful country setting, the cottage was well appointed with everything a traveller could possibly need. A very relaxing and comfortable cottage... More

Stayed recently with our two children and had an absolutely delightful time. I didn't have any particular place in mind when looking for somewhere, just wanted somewhere nice and relaxing for a week and stumbled upon these cottages. So pleased we made the booking now and would definitely return - the children really want to too! It's a very clever... More

I found these cottages while searching for my friend's hen weekend and they were perfect! Jane provided me with great communication and answered all my queries up to our stay. Organising a hen party can be very difficult in terms of getting money on time, and Jane was very patient and understanding of this. The facilities are great, not only... More

After a tragic house fire, jane kindly took us in (and our dog) on short notice. we arrived and was greeted with warm arms. She showed us around and welcomed us to what would be our new home for the week (maple). Only having a few bags of belongings we managed to save from the fire, when we settled in,... More

Although I was staying in Maple Cottage for work, I felt as if I was on holiday! The location is peaceful, yet only 2 miles from Chippenham. It was lovely to view the night sky without light pollution. The cottage was fully equipped with everything you might need and was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Jane is very helpful and... Staying at Chestnut Cottage was cosy and perfect for our 3 year old Granddaughter who loved the French door out to the huge chestnut tree with dozens of conkers! Beautiful time of year to visit and this cottage is perfectly located for visits to Longleat and Bath. Chestnut has a high gable end of glass giving a feeling of open... More

We were a family of 4 couples aged 26-63 renting 2 adjacent cottages for 3 nights and had a tremendous experience staying here!! Easy to find, hassle free check in, friendly hosts with lots of good local knowledge and advice. We ordered a Tesco online shop in order to make self catering cheap and easy and the kitchen was kitted... More

We've spent 4 wonderful nights in Maple cottage. Situated in a great spot for exploring Wiltshire. The cottage was cozy and such a delight to return to after a busy day sightseeing. Comfy beds, fully equipped for self catering, piping hot water and all very clean. Just perfect! Thank you Jane and family for making us so welcome ...:)
