Just about to check out and I have had an amazing time. On arrival we got our dinner and the chef is really really good, best steak I have ever had and the side or roast veg was delicious. Staff are all really nice and the hotel itself is just a nice place to stay with big log fires dotted...

The location, as mentioned in the review title is perfect for exploring the most revered area of the Highland. The hotel has maintained a Victorian charm and staff, service and food is great! All in all a value and a very comfortable stay!

My Husband and I stayed here for a short New Year/Anniversary break and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is lovely and has loads of character and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room 108 was very spacious with the additional bonus of a jacuzzi bath and we were pleased that it was on the first floor so not so...

The hotel is beautiful and old, it suits its old furnishings and style and the room was lovely and comfortable. With excellent views of the loch. Bathroom had a lovely roll top bath but the jacuzzi function didn't work. The food was one of the best meals I've had, the only thing which let the stay down was the wait...

Lovely 5 day break after Christmas. Room 206 was nice. Bit rough round the edges but lovely view and sounds of the waves. Road can get a bit noisy but nothing too bad. Room extremely hot even with heater off which I am sure is great for those from hotter countries however a bit uncomfortable. May be down to strange...

Visited earlier this week for two nights. The hotel was nice and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The room was a bit dated but perfectly fine for a few nights away. There was plenty choice for breakfast at the buffet although the yogurt serving spoon was a teaspoon and made getting yogurt out a kilner jar very awkward. Dinner...

We stayed here for one night. It was very relaxing. The room was very spacious with a lovely bathroom. The hotel restaurant served amazing food and wasn't too pricey! Would definitely recommend for a bit of r and r!

One night stay. Good location and views. Good common area. Antique style. Rooms are spacious but toilets have hot and cold water taps which are very annoying. Antique furniture in the rooms. Will stay again but breakfast menu could be improved again.

We are just home from a 2 night mini-moon stay and it was lovely. The room we booked was basic, clean and fresh and the view from the window of the loch and hills was stunning (and we were on the ground floor). The bed was huge and very comfy. Breakfast is self serve and there was plenty to choose...
