We spent one night at the Ballachulish Hotel from the 4th to 5th November 2016 and was pleasantly surprised, it's an old building with loads of character and very cozy that gives it a very welcoming feeling with a very nice lounge where you can relax, the dining room was interesting with views on to the loch and a interesting...

Decided on this location as the next stop on our little road trip, basing it on where it was an the price of the rooms. Booked a Single Room with Breakfast, and was definitely worth the rate that was charged. Rooms was comfortable enough, and hot water was definitely that! Good selection for Breakfast, for both the Continental or Cooked...

Lovely hotel right located right beside the loch in stunning surroundings and ideally situated for our onward journey to Malaig and onto Skye. The room overlooked the loch and was comfortable if not a little bit tired. The whole building is steeped in history and creaks like an old wooden ship. Our bed and breakfast deal was extremely good value...

Can't say we didn't have a nice time at this hotel because we did! However the hotel is in need of an upgrade. We visited the hotel a long time ago and don't think any money has been invested in it which is a pity! Our room was in need of a lick of paint and new carpet as the...

Stayed overnight with an Itison voucher. Good value for money. Food was lovely in the dining room and the breakfast was great, plenty of choice. Lovely surroundings. Great view from the dining room in the morning. Staff all pleasant and helpful. The squeaky stairs were fun to go up and down. Unfortunately none of the open fires were working. They...

This hotel is excellent value for money. My single room was at the back and very quiet at night. I spent the day in the library with my laptop, working in front of the fire, getting up now and then to look at the stunning scenery from the windows.

Stayed here for 2 nights Dbb basis on an itison voucher. Hotel is stately and full of charm. Would have had a cosier ambience had the open fires been in use but apparently due to cleaning and renovation they weren't which was a shame. We sat in the library at night with some provided board games as there was a...

One night stop over, arrived early but room was ready and staff were really welcoming and helpful. We were able to take our dog for and extra £10 and she would have been allowed in any room except the dining room. Paid an extra £10 for a room overlooking the loch which had a lovely view (room 104). Apparently these...

On check in I was told there was only a double 'feature' room available. I am not sure what the features were other than it perhaps being a 80's theme room? I was on the ground floor, sound insulation was none existent, there was quite a lot of noise until midnight. It was clean enough but shabby, dated and way...
