The host was super helpful and full of tips about where to visit and things to see! The house is beautiful and charming. The house and rooms are spotless! The breakfast is delicious ! This was our 3rd visit to Craiglinnhe and I am pleased to say, it just keeps on getting better! There have been a few subtle changes and, through conversation the the owners, know that more are planned that I can't wait to see. The hospitality was as warm and welcoming as the fire in the guest lounge; the rooms were...

Returned from a wonderful two night stay (wish it was longer!) at Craiglinnhe House. Clean, cosy and comfortable throughout- we could not have felt more at home during our stay. Craiglinnhe House is well located for plenty of walks both within walking distance and also a short drive away and there are plenty of books and maps on hand to...

I booked this for my wife's 50th weekend (without the kids in tow !). Basically it's great. We were the only ones staying so had the place to ourselves. Lawrence and Katrina are perfect hosts being attentive when you need them but also letting you feel you can have privacy too. The bed was lovely, the breakfast top class (esp...

We absolutely loved the Craiglinnhe house!!! It was one of our favorite places we stayed in all of Scotland. It's beautiful, peaceful and Lawerence, the host, is probably the most friendly and helpful man you will ever meet! We could not recommend this place more!!! Also, his wife makes the best bacon ;)

Our stay at Craiglinne House was idyllic and thoroughly restful. Lawrence and Katrina are impeccable hosts, providing a truly rare experience of hospitality. Every little detail is curated for the comfort of the guests. From the flashlights they'll provide you if you'd like to go on a nightwalk, to the books about Scotland and whisky and stargazing that add to...

I would say those two categories are the most important while traveling. This rental is located right on the loch, with all the mountains surrounding you. But more importantly, you deal directly with the owners. It made all the difference while traveling abroad. P.S. They make a mean breakfast!

We stayed at this lovely B&B in November and it was a great experience. Although we only had a short stay, it was very relaxing and peaceful. We were welcomed by Lawrence, who was such a genial host, and brought us some much-needed tea and shortbread on arrival. The living room is so comfortable, with a log fire and great...
