We had an evening meal in the restaurant. Lovely food fabulous flavours, really good service, in very pleasant surroundings. The staff were all very friendly too. Good value for money. We did have to wait to be seated, but this was not a problem.

About
Description
The Cross Keys provides a warm and friendly welcome to its guests and excellent service from attentive, friendly staff. The hotel is an ideal centre for business or pleasure situated in a peaceful corner of ...More Scotland, yet still within easy reach of Edinburgh and Newcastle. The hotel is in the heart of Kelso’s picturesque French-styled cobbled square. The present hotel was built in 1769, but in other forms, a Cross Keys Hotel has occupied the site since the earliest days of Scottish Coaching Inns. Today, the hotel provides a comfortable and convenient base to explore all that Kelso and the Scottish Borders has to offer. So, whether it's a relaxing break or an action-packed holiday that you are looking for, the Cross Keys can be enjoyed by all. Less
